In fact this week, the third week in May, is the traditional time when the Flower Show is held. The Chelsea Flower Show, visited by 2:, celebrities and the public, is not known for its contribution to food, yet this year s festival inspired one gardener to accidently create the world s hottest and spiciest chilli ever grown. 2 Mr Mike Smith, a fruit-grower from Denbigshire in North Wales, was amazed when his attempt to create a 3: entry for the 2017 Chelsea Flower Show ended up with the strongest chilli pepper ever grown.
