Verify that all cables are connected to the correct input and output ports. Verify that the correct input source is selected from the display menu. Check the green LED indicators on the front panels of the Extender boxes. All connected equipment must support HDCP. Set-top CATV boxes or A/V receivers with HDMI 1.2 may not function with this HDBaseT Extender. Directly connect the video source to the output display to test for compatibility. Check the audio output settings from the source input device. Test each HDMI cable by connecting it with other equipment. Test the Cat 6 cable with a cable tester. It must be terminated using the 568B wiring standard. High resolution 4K displays may require a heavy gauge AWG 22-24 or RedMere HDMI cable for cables over 10 feet. Place the Extender boxes away from fluorescent lighting or equipment that generates electrical noise. A Not Supported error message may indicated that the connected equipment does not support HDCP (or more than 2 outputs) for content protected video. Check that the IR sensor on the input source or output display is not blocked (check the user manual of your equipment for the exact location). Reboot the video source and output displays after making changes. Contact support@cablematters.com with any questions. 8
