This rider is to be attached and made part of the contract dated _ between Ute Lemper (hereinafter referred to as ARTIST ) and _ (hereinafter referred to as PURCHASER ). PLEASE READ THIS RIDER CAREFULLY. It contains a description of certain equipment requirements and working conditions essential to the ARTIST and necessary for the highest quality performance. If you have any questions about this rider, or if there are certain terms or conditions regarding this rider or the attached contract which you anticipate having trouble arranging, please contact the ARTIST S Management or the ARTIST S Agent. A. GENERAL PROVISIONS: 1. MODIFICATIONS: It is understood that this agreement and attached rider may not be modified except in writing, signed by both ARTIST and PURCHASER 2. LICENSES/PERMITS: PURCHASER shall obtain at no cost to the ARTIST, all licenses, work visas, permits or other approvals required from any union, public authority, performing rights society or other entity having jurisdiction with respect to this engagement and will comply completely and satisfactory fulfill all terms and conditions set forth therein. 3. OPENING ACTS: ARTIST reserves the right of written approval of any and all opening acts. 4. INTERVIEWS: PURCHASER shall not commit ARTIST to any personal appearances, interviews or any other type of promotional activities without ARTIST or ARTIST S management s prior consent. 5. ARTIST shall have the right of approval of all press and publicity in regard to this engagement. 6. PURCHASER will submit for ARTIST approval any artwork, graphic designs, radio spots or TV spots prior to running any advertising. 7. BILLING: ARTIST shall receive 100% star, top and/or first position upper left hand billing on any and all publicity including without limitation: programs, fliers, signs, posters, newspaper ads, lobby boards, tickets, marquees, radio and television promotions. 8. RECORDING: Absolutely NO portion of the performance rendered hereunder may be broadcast, photographed, recorded, filmed, taped or embodied in any way form for any purpose without prior written consent of ARTIST and ARTIST S Management. PURCHASER will make an announcement to the audience prior to each performance that there will be NO recording of the performance. PURCHASER will do its best to enforce that policy during the performance(s). 9. ARTIST reserves and retains the exclusive right to record all or any portion of the performance both audio and visual, at the ARTIST S sole cost and expense. 1 Initials:

In order to perform her new program the ARTIST tours with musicians as well as a front of house sound engineer. Listed below are certain basic requirements for the effective presentation of the performance. Due to the nature of ARTIST's performances, some of the requirements are subject to change. If a condition of this rider has been altered, ARTIST S representation will contact the venue with changes. B. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS PURCHASER AGREES TO FURNISH AT OWN EXPENSE: 10. STAGING REQUIREMENTS: PURCHASER to provide the following theatrical properties: a. 1 x four legged bar stool (no back) b. 4 x music stands with lighting Please note that these props may change slightly closer to performance date. However, these alternatives will not require anything expensive or hard to find. 11. SCENERY : PURCHASER to provide if appropriate to venues design the following : c. 1 BLACK BACKDROP 12. LIGHTING : UTE LEMPER does not travel with a lighting designer. A local lighting designer and operator should be provided. ALL LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO LOCAL AVAILABLILITY AND CONCEPTUAL CHANGES OF THE LOCAL DESIGNER WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE NECESSARY FOLLOW SPOT. 13. 1 Follow spot 2500w HMI (manual dimmer) and professional operator on intercom to ARTISTs LD.6/19/06 The light-equipment is depending on the venues capabilities. It has to be sufficient for the stage with a grand-piano, Bandonéon, Bass, Violin and a solovocalist. 2 Initials:

14. SOUND CHECK: A sound check with full performance facilities shall be held on each performance date as required by the ARTIST. All necessary hall staff is required at that time to set the stage, sound, lighting, etc. PURCHASER shall ensure that all staff are properly supervised; all trade practices met; all safety standards are complied with; and all production/technical personnel are safe within the venue. All personnel shall be provided at no cost to the ARTIST and will be available for as long as necessary to complete the sound check to the ARTIST's satisfaction. d. All audio equipment (including PA, front of house and monitor systems fully eq's and tuned; any tie-lines, microphones, direct boxes, all inserts, effects, processing equipment; and all equipment) should be set up and line checked as per the supplied input list prior to the ARTIST's arrival. e. This setup should be treated as an initiation of the actual show with everything clean and hot for sound check. All troubleshooting for problems such as bad cables and connections, noise and ground loops, faulty channels and inserts, electrical problems, and any other system problems, should be done with all problems repaired and all equipment running properly prior to the ARTIST arriving for sound check. f. The PURCHASER agrees that on the day of this performance no other performing ARTISTs, attractions or organizations can have use of the stage for any length of time unless mutually agreed upon by Ted Kurland Associates (Ute Lemper) and the Presenter. Unless otherwise noted in contract, PURCHASER agrees to open house no earlier than sixty (60) minutes prior to scheduled performance time. SOUND AND MONITORING: The ARTIST requires a first class audio system for the performance, as well as set- up and operating personnel for said sound system at no cost to the ARTIST. These experts will remain through the entire setup, sound check and performance. A system expert must remain at the Front of House position during the sound check and performance with intercom communication to the stage in case of any problems or needs of the ARTIST. The sound system must be capable of providing the house with a clear, undistorted, evenly distributed sound throughout, with plenty of presence and volume. No in-house PA systems should be used unless ARTIST S management is first contacted and confirms acceptability. The ARTIST reserves the right to tap into any existing in- house installations if their engineer so desires and there must be available cables for these connections if desired. Please have the persons supplying the sound system contact ARTIST s management upon receipt of this rider to confirm that adequate audio support will be available. As mentioned previously, the sound system shall be set- up, equalized and also time-aligned and phase-corrected, checked and fully operational prior to sound check, rehearsals and performance (see "B.5. SOUND CHECK") 3 Initials:

15. PA SYSTEM PROPRIETER-DESIGNED CABINETS are never acceptable. House audio engineer will determine the quantity of speaker enclosures required, including delay if necessary, out fills ecc. Therefore fly the system, wherever it is possible, to improve sound coverage and quality! Balconies require additional (rigged) systems, on all stages we will need front fills, in every case we have to use it (very important) subwoofer have to be from a separate aux out and is welcome cardioid sub array configuration. Prefered systems are d&b audiotechnik T, Y, V or J depending the size of the hall. 16. Your monitor engineer can choice if use analog or digital consolle, but however have to be first class sound consolle. Ute needs a good reverb machine on monitor, TC electronic M3000/REV4000 if analog consolle we need to add: 7 x ch. eq. 1/3 oct. C. HOSPITALITY 1. DRESSING ROOMS AND CATERING: All dressing rooms must be clean, well lit, heated or air conditioned. Clean and private bathroom facilities should be available with all the necessary supplies, e.g. soap, toilet paper, towels, trash cans, all should have A/C outlets capable of supporting a 1600 watt wardrobe steamer. 2. PURCHASER to provide a steam iron and board as well as staff to press and steam Ms. Lemper's costume immediately after soundcheck. Three dressing rooms are required with the following: a. Dressing Room A Ute Lemper: 1 large, comfortable room with well lit, fulllength make- up table and mirror (full length), extra table for catering, at least two chairs, couch when possible, private bathroom with showers and towels. b. Please place in dressing room the following catering for rehearsals and performances: Teas, coffee, milk, bottled mineral water, (6) Coca Cola and a hot meal before the show. c. Performance only: 1 bottle of dry red wine and 1 bottle of dry white wine, small canape's,(assorted sandwiches), fruit yogurt and small fruit basket. (all in Ms. Lemper s dressing room) 3. It is understood that no part, portion, or segment of the engagement (including rehearsals) is to be reproduced or broadcast either audibly or visually without the prior written authorization by the ARTIST which shall be necessary for the PURCHASER to allow entrance to the hall with any and all sound, video, or motion picture recording devices. D. TRANSPORTATION GROUND TRANSPORTATION: PURCHASER shall provide at no cost to the ARTIST all ground transportation upon the arrival in the city of the performance at the airport, train station or bus station throughout the duration of the ARTIST S stay for the performance. Transportation MUST include a limousine with a driver for the sole use of Artist. A comfortable, clean, van capable of holding up to six (6) people is required for the transportation of the band and crew. A separate luggage van will be required for the transportation of all equipment traveling with the ARTIST including an upright bass case. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION: ALL ground transportation vehicles will be available to take the ARTIST from the airport or station of arrival to the hotel; from the hotel to the venue for sound check; from the venue to the hotel after the performance and from the hotel to the airport or station of departure. 9 Initials:

E. MISCELLANEOUS 1. REPRESENTATION: PURCHASER represents and warrants that it is at the present time, or will be, the owner, operator of, or representative for or will have a valid lease upon the place of performance on the dates and times set forth in the Agreement. PURCHASER warrants the undersigned s authority to execute this Agreement on the PURCHASER S behalf. 2. FORCE MAJEURE: In the event of any illness or accident affecting the ARTIST, or if a performance or supporting performance is rendered impossible or unfeasible by any force majeure event or any accident, fire, riot, war, civil disturbance, strike, lockout or other labor dispute, act of God, order or rule, regulation or act of any government authority, absence of power or other essential services, failure of technical facilities, failure or delay of transportation facilities, the parties hereto specifically agree that all of ARTIST S or PURHCASER S obligation as to the performance(s) affected shall be deemed waived and neither party hereto shall have any claim for damages with respect to the affected performance(s). Provided that the ARTIST is ready willing and able to perform pursuant to the terms hereof, payment of any guaranteed compensation hereunder shall be made notwithstanding that inclement weather may render a performance impossible or unfeasible, unless the contract states RAIN OR SHINE. ARTIST or ARTIST S representative shall have the sole right to determine, in good faith whether any such conditions shall render the performance(s) impossible, hazardous, or unsafe. 3. DEFAULT: If the PURCHASER fails or refuses to comply with any of the material provisions contained in the Agreement and this Rider including but not limited to failing to or refusing to provide any of the items or take an action required of the PURCHASER hereunder; to proceed with the presentation of the engagement which is subject of the Agreement; to make any of the payments as and when required hereunder; or if any performance is rendered impossible or unfeasible by any cause within the PURCHASER S control, then in such events ARTIST shall have no further obligation to perform the Agreement; ARTIST shall retain all amounts theretofore paid to it by the PURCHASER; PURCHASER shall remain liable for any additional compensation herein provided, and ARTIST shall also be entitled to exercise all remedies then available to it. 4. JURISDICTION: This agreement shall be construed and interpreted pursuant to the laws of the State of New York. The parties hereto irrevocably and absolutely consent to sole, exclusive and mandatory jurisdiction of the Courts of the State of New York. Any court proceeding filed or brought in connection with this Agreement or arising out of the Agreement shall only be filed in the appropriate Federal or State Court located in New York, New York.
