Vikuiti brings emotion to life Vikuiti Rear Projection Films and Screens provide an important new impetus for in-store marketing. They can transform a store window into an LCD screen or create a moving image on a store window. And these are just a few of the many possibilities! Crystal clear Vikuiti Rear Projection Films and Screens - as the name suggests - are illuminated from behind by a projector and the projected image can be seen from the front. All types of projection are possible: from slide shows and video clips to interactive media presentations. The colours are crystal clear and the image is sharper than with conventional screens. It is why virtually all garments, furniture, curtains and other coloured objects begin to fade if they are in a sunlit environment. 3m has the solution Having invented sun-resistant and UV-resistant films, 3M has been offering solutions to prevent colour fading for many years. However, the existing technology nearly always means that the film is tinted or reflective. For store windows and displays where glass is used to show the products on display, this is not an acceptable solution. For this reason, in the past few years 3M has successfully developed a new, transparent solution: 3M Prestige Window film. This film offers effective protection against UV rays combined with an uninhibited view of the products on display in the window. Invisible When the Prestige film is applied on the glass, it is virtually invisible. Passers-by have an uninhibited view into the window and the view from inside to outside too is unaffected.
