LinguaFolio, Jr. is a collection of information about early language learning. It has three parts: My Language Passport My Language Biography My Language Dossier My Language Passport: Is a short, important document. Helps others see what I know and can do in other languages. My Language Biography: Describes my language background. Tells about my experiences with different cultures. Helps me see that I am learning to use more and more language over time. Helps me understand how I learn languages and set goals for future learning. My Language Dossier: Is where I put samples of my work. Shows others what I can do in other languages. I can update my Language Passport, Language Biography and Language Dossier at any time. I can share my LinguaFolio with my present and future teachers, my parents and perhaps others, but it is especially for me! LinguaFolio Jr. is based on the European Language Portfolio and the CILT Junior Portfolio Developed by the Kentucky Department of Education and the Virginia Department of Education
