In general
LOGOSCREEN 500cf JUMO screen recorders, series LOGOSCREEN 500 cf and LOGOSCREEN nt, offer options of counters and integrators. This presentation describes the philosophy of function by example of the LOGOSCREEN 500 cf. When the LOGOSCREEN 500 cf is equipped with extra code 260, 6 channels are at your disposal that can alternatively be configured as counter, integrator or timed-operation meter. 4
Counters
Counters Count frequency max. 30 Hz Counter 123 6
Function Count selection Count input logic inputs logic channels alarms Interferences Modbus-Flag Weighting e.g. with input 3 the result at every positive flank is counted with +3 7
If the flank of the count signal is positive, a defined text is recorded in the event list Alarm: A limit value can be defined for each channel; if this value is ex-ceeded, a standard or customer speci-fic text can be recorded in the event list. 8
Integrators
Integrators l/h t Integrator 0.0 18.1 54.2 115.2 186.2 240.2 261.4 272.4 280.5 286.2 292.1 l l l 10
Function Integrator selection Anal. Input signal. signal to be integrated Evaluation: Before integration the analogue input signal is multiplied with the given value 11
Time Basis Input signal is integrated on this time basis: e.g.: is the input signal given in l/h, the integrator determines the total quantity in l based on the time given in h Threshold value Integration is only realized, if the input signal is higher than the threshold value 12
Timer
Timer t Timer 1s 2s 3s 14
Function Timer selection Input signal A time is determined during which the input signal shall be active Time basis The operating time can be selected and calculated either in s, min, hours and/or days 15
Display of the count of counters
Display of the count of counters Display of Counters/Integrators/Timers Extended display: - Actual count of counters and - terminated recording period - Actual count of counters - Terminated recording period To be left via the event list 17
Count periods
Count periods During a defined time period each counter/integrator/timer builds up its own output signal. After this time period the output (counted value) is stored and reset; there are the following opportunities: 19
Count periods Periodically: The counter works during a defined time period which can be adjusted in the submenue General ; these time periods are repeated periodically 20
Count periods Externally: as long as a defined control signal is active, the input signal is counted, integrated etc. If the control signal is 0, the counted value is stored. Every new positive flank of the control signal releases a reset and the counting process starts again. 21
Count periods The count period can be selected as, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly or daily from-to; if the option daily from-to is selected, the below indicated details must be specified: 22
Count periods A special feature is offered with the totalizer. The totalizer is always stored (however not set to 0), when any counter/integrator is terminated. 23
Counter reset
Counter reset The reset of the counters can be realized as follows: As described already, the counters are automatically reset after the count period. Reset can be realized in the parameter level. All counters can be determined to a defined value. Values received up to this time are not stored. If the function update CF incl. Counter is selected in menu CompactFlash card, the counted values are reset and stored as well. A reset for all counted values can be realized with the control signal (which must be selected under Counters / Integrators - general. In this case the counted values are not stored. 25
Counter reset Pre-given details for the count of the counters in the parameter level: 26
Counter reset Reset via menu CompactFlash card: 27
Counter reset Reset via control signal: All counters can be reset with this signal 28
