Brand Guidelines Introduction This manual was produced to assist you when using paysafecard logomark and creating texts for a consistent communication in all markets and languages. It provides guidelines regarding color, sizes, proper and improper usage of the logomark as well as logo variations. Furthermore the Text Guidelines will help you when it comes to the most important things you should keep in mind when creating texts for paysafecard. The benefits of this manual are numerous. First, a strong corporate identity creates a basic look for communication materials that can be used for many types of applications. Second, it saves time by establishing easy to follow guidelines that can be used time and time again. Third, this manual helps make our communication efforts more consistent from piece to piece. A great deal of thought has been put into these guidelines. We realize that not every application has been or could be covered. However, you will find suggestions on how to use the logomark and fonts as well as create text in most situations. 3

Brandmark Colours Color plays a major role in any graphic identity system. The colors used for paysafecard logomark have been carefully chosen. The claim in paysafecard logomark is set in Blue. It is important to keep in mind that the colors throughout this manual don t necessarily represent the color that you see on your computer screen, the Pantone Matching System or a four color offset press would produce. However, the breakdown for each color is listed below in order to keep color usage consistent The paysafecard brand is made up of four colours. paysafecard blue blue is the primary paysafecard color which is used for style elements, highlights and the account section. attraction colour orange Orange must be used for all eyecatchers, important information and as take action colour. paysafecard red red has to be used for the padlock only. content grey For text and content. Brandmark Logo usage The logomark where it is to be printed on a white color background, the colour version of the logomark is preferred. However, if production limitations inhibit you from using the color version, the logomark should be printed in black or white. Never use the logomark in any other color, no matter online or offline, other than the ones outlined in this manual. Save area: The logomark should always be surrounded by a generous amount of open space. This keeps it free of visually distracting elements. The recommended minimum open space around the logomark is shown below. However, when there are other distracting elements, even greater space is recommended. To messure the clear space you can use the sice of the padlock as described within the illustration on the right. Usage: for B2C assetts This logo version is for communicating to the end customer. These communication materials normally are: Stickers, Cashtrays, Posters, etc in Stores. Ads in magazines, Promocards, 6
Brandmark Logo usage Save area: Do not forget to use the padlock to messure the clear space around the brandmark. Usage: for B2B assetts and B2C assetts The normal logo version is also for communicating to business partners (e.g. Point of Sales). These communication materials normally are: B2B-Rollups, -booths, -Ads,... Example: B2B Rollups 7
Brandmark Logo usage Usage: Whenever the logo visibility would suffer due to the background, an additional white background (plate) has to be placed behind the logo. Description: The plate has to have rounded corners which are defined via the padlock. If the logo is placed near the right or the left edges of the ads, the plate has no margins and the rounded corners are just on the oposite side of the edges. Never be used: on white and light backgrounds 8
Brandmark Logo usage Usage: whenever the 1 colour logo fits better to the overall look and feel and the logo visibility would suffer due to the background, the logo can be used as a white or black version. Note: This usage hase to be approved by the paysafecard design team first. 9
Brandmark incorrect Logo usage When the color of the logomark is used incorrectly, visual recognition of paysafecard is reduced, and the identity program looses effectiveness. Dont s 1. Do not recolour the logo. 2. Never swap the colors used in the logomark 3. Do not stretch the logo. 4. Do not use a stroke on the logo. 5. Do not change the position of the padlock within the logomark. 6. Do not rotate the logo. 7. Do not change the typeface in the logo. 8. Do not use the logo without the padlock. 9. Never alter the proportions of the elements of the logomark. 10. Never print the 2 color, 4 color or black only version of the logomark on a dark color background. 11. Never use the logomark as a pattern. 12. Never place the logomark inside a shape of any kind. 13. Never place the logomark on an angle.
