Greenroom: QPAC s Green Room is a common area to all venues with café and bar, providing a secure environment for artists, staff and guests to relax before and after performances. Stage Door: Access Access to Stage Door is located via the tunnel off Grey St, opposite the South Brisbane train station. Stage Door Security is provided. A complete listing of all persons requiring back stage access is to be forwarded to the Events Manager at least ten working days prior to an event entering the Centre, for the preparation of security passes. Security passes must be prominently worn at all times in order to gain access to the Centre. ADDITIONAL FACILITIES & INFORMATION Orchestra: A selection of pianos including a Steinway D Concert Grand, Kawai Grand pianos of varying sizes and a Hubbard and Broekman Harpsichord are available on request. All pianos and Harpsichord are tuned to concert pitch A440. All instruments are tuned by QPAC approved tuners to client requirements. A selection of music stands, orchestra chairs, conductor stands and podiums are available on request. All requirements for musical instruments and orchestra equipment are to be directed to the Events Manager. Electrical Testing And Tagging: Under State legislation all portable electrical equipment, used or brought into the Centre by hirers, is required to be tested and tagged at least every six months. Safety In The Workplace: The trust vigorously upholds legislation in regard to safety in the workplace and will not allow any practices, which are considered unsafe. For further information please contact the Events Manager. Pyrotechnics, Firearms And Naked Flame: Subject to testing and approval by relevant authorities, pyrotechnics, firearms and naked flame may be used in productions. It should be noted that the use of any pyrotechnics in Queensland is covered by new legislation that requires a licensed (in Queensland) Pyrotechnics Operator.
