Formerly BOEING MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION Gold Card www.bmagoldcard.org New Mentoring Program The BLN-R executive board is coordinating with the Internship and Onboarding organizations to develop a BCA Mentoring Program in partnership with Human Resources and the Learning, Training, and Development departments. Currently, new employees receive inconsistent onboarding and mentoring experiences across the Puget Sound, and the Boeing core values and initial training are not always aligned. The opportunities are there to capture the hearts and minds of our new employees and to align the critical training in the onboarding/mentoring events to the Boeing core values. The goal is to also shape a more agile and productive workforce, which is the basis and objective for the BCA Enhanced Onboarding Project and the newly formed mentoring program. In our BLN-R database (blnretirees.org), we have more than 2,600 active retirees who have shown a variety of interests in maintaining a connection with Boeing. We are currently adding a field titled Profession in the database that will allow our mentoring program to tap into the Salary Job Classification System (SJC). Our goal will be to align the subject-matter experts by SJC skill code to the needs of new employees coming into the company. We need your help. Please contact Ron VanHoy if you re interested in leading the Mentoring Program on the executive board or participating with the Board as a coordinator for specific skill-code events.you can reach Ron at 253-777-5190, rdvan89@comcast.net.v McCaw Hall PNB s The Nutcracker Whether you re experiencing The Nutcracker for the first time or as part of your family s holiday tradition, you ll thrill to this classic tale, brought to life with brilliant choreography by the legendary George Balanchine and a timeless score by Tchaikovsky.
