US History II 1917-Present Honors Prerequisites: Successful completion of US History I or US History I Honors Be in compliance with the SSD Honors and AP criteria Policy US History II 1917 Present Honors will provide students with the material to understand and review the key concepts from the start of World War I through the year 2000. It will cover key events, people, laws, international affairs, and social concepts that have shaped the US through today. As an honors class, the material will be more rigorous and the assessments will require more critical thinking, writing skills, and the ability to relay retained information in a more in depth manner.
