It can also be positioned at auditorium level to provide additional seating capacity (30 seats ) or to pit level to create a full sized orchestra pit. The Orchestra pit is a fully motorised lift with various height options. Access management equipment is available allowing access for performers with limited mobility. Staging Notes: Overhead equipment (including lighting and scenery) must be overseen and approved by qualified MAPA staff or those deemed competent by MAPA Technical management using appropriately certified equipment. The venue reserves the right to refuse to rig or request improved construction on items deemed not safe to be flown. Lighting equipment rigged overhead must be secured with a safety chain or similar. Scenery and large props must be suitably treated with fire retardant Approved drapes must be of a fire retardant fabric or treated with an approved fire retardant and with an appropriate label attached to the drape.
