INTRODUCTION TO THE ELECTRIC THE ELECTRIC IS A GREAT VENUE FOR A RANGE OF EVENTS. WITH THE ABILITY TO TRANSFORM THE SPACE TO FIT YOUR NEEDS IT BECOMES THE PERFECT FIT FOR AN AFTER SHOW PARTY ALLOWING US TO BRING THE L.A PARTY SCENE TO LONDON. MIKE AND THE TEAM WERE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH ACCOMMODATING ANY LAST MINUTE CHANGES AND ALWAYS WILLING TO LEND A HELP IN HAND. HOPE O SULLIVAN, HEART PRODUCTIONS The Electric launched as a premiere London events venue in September 2011 following a major multi million pound refurbishment. This iconic 100 year old Edwardian venue has hosted a range of major artists over the years boasting unrivalled sight lines, a large stage and beautiful baroque interior features in navy blue and gold. The venue is a fusion of old and new having invested substantially in the best event production equipment available. The Electric truly is multi-purpose providing the perfect setting for television studio recordings, awards ceremonies and a full range of private events no matter how big or small. MAIN ROOM The Main Room has retained the theatrical structure with the ground floor and stage overlooked by a mezzanine gallery, helping maintain an intimate atmosphere. Many original features have been retained with striking shades of blue and gold adding to the grandiose classical look. Newer modern touches including ingilded banquettes, disco ball chandeliers, sleek furniture & contemporary bar styling bring the lavish décor up to date. The room is framed by two large bars and features a separate VIP area with various seating. The Electric boasts a capacity of 1,600 for receptions and can also accommodate dinners, presentations and showcases. Adjacent to the main hall, the Baby Room has its own separate sound system and bar operating either as an extension of the main area, as a secondary event space or even as a VIP area. The long-standing live music heritage of the venue means it is particularly well set-up in regards to loading access. We can assist you with planning the theme & branding of your event using existing or hired facilities. Do not hesitate to organise a viewing with our technical manager and production partners. The front of the building can also be customised to fit with your theme or event and you can also make use of the cinema readograph to advertise your event. BABY ROOM The Baby Room is adjacent to the Main Room and can either have open access from the auditorium or be its own separate entity. With it s own bar, sound and lighting the space is a great option as a break out area, secondary event space, chill out zone or even VIP area. KEY FACTS Includes a bar, DJ booth and small stage Sound system (which can also be combined with Main Room) This room is usually included in the hire of the Main room 10
CIRCLE BAR The Circle Bar is a beautiful space overlooking the Main Room with a separate bar for all guests. This is a perfect area for any reception or corporate event. The venue operates a license until 4am Monday to Thursday and a 24 hour license on weekends. FILM SHOOTS As well as an excellent nightclub and theatre scene, we welcome film and photography shoots with open arms. The larger areas of our main auditorium as well as our darker nooks and crannies also make great spaces for fashion, promo and TV shoots. The venue has been featured in a whole host of advertising campaigns, from major food sellers through to independent British films. Be sure to utilise our in-house lighting and sound system and don t hesitate to get in touch if your event requires something a little more unique. 14
CATERING SERVICE We use only the best caterers around for all of our events. We work closely with a number of preferred caterers who all offer fresh, modern and creative catering whilst upholding traditional service values. The entire team are all self-confessed foodies and continuously provide superb food made only from the finest sustainably sourced ingredients. Our contemporary menus suitable for anything from exquisite canapés and formal dinners through to themed bowl food and innovative conference options are sure to tantalise the taste buds and leave your guests coming back for more. 16
DRINKS As well as exceptional food, we also provide both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages alongside a beautiful array of wonderful cocktails. With ideas from classic favourites through to ingenious mocktails, they re sure to add the finishing touch to your event. MORE INFO PARKING Pay and Display bays are available behind the venue on Buckner Road. They are free after 5.30pm. LOADING Please direct all deliveries to Buckner Road, for our rear entrance. Flat access to both stage and the main floor. FURNITURE We do not own any tables or chairs - these must always be hired. INTERNET Internet access is available throughout the venue. 22 24
FIGHT CLUB EVENTS AEI MEDIA LIMITED HEART PRODUCTIONS Moving our event to The Electric was a big gamble for us but one that has proved to be the best decision we ve ever made. A truly unique venue for the area, it s growing reputation and management have helped us take our event from strength to strength The Electric is a superb and very versatile space for club and corporate events. We ve held numerous shows there in past years including branded live events and showcases, and its home to our annual Drum&Bass Arena Awards. Mike, Michael and the team are a pleasure to work with The Electric is a great venue for a range of events. It became the perfect fit for our after show party allowing us to bring the L.A party scene to London.
