To fulfill the responsibility of national institutions to collect, preserve and provide access to records related to the Great East Japan Earthquake 2. To coordinate with public and private organizations in collecting and preserving records related to the Great East Japan Earthquake 3. To share records domestically and internationally, and pass them down to future generations

4 Great East Japan Earthquake Archive Content of Hinagiku Target: subject the Earthquake and its damage the affected areas before & after the disaster support activity both by public & private sectors disaster planning before & after the disaster the nuclear hazard caused by the disaster earthquakes and tsunami in the past domestic and overseas attitudes to the disaster
