OPEN AIR STEREO RIDER FOOD: (listed in order of preference) a. Hot meal catering should be provided for 6 people. If the venue includes a restaurant or dining hall facilities, equivalent menu items are requested. Or b. If hot meals are not available, the artist would prefer a buyout or dinner allowance of $15 per person for 6 people. The Artist requires 6 dark colored bath-sized towels in the dressing room.
If there is no permanent dressing room onsite and a dressing trailer or other temporary dressing area is rented for the event, it must remain and be available for the band s sole use for at least seventy-five (75) minutes after the end of the band s performance or the end of the event whichever is later. ACCOMMODATIONS/PARKING REQUIREMENTS: Hotel accommodations or guest rooms with access to shower facilities shall be provided for six (6) people. Parking to be cleared for a 24 foot van with a 14 foot trailer attached. If this cannot be provided, you MUST advance an alternate and close parking solution with Open Air Stereo s tour manager. SECURITY: Adequate professional security must be provided by the venue or the promoter as a general rule, there should be one (1) professional security person for every seventy (70) patrons. Please initial as confirmation that you ve read and understand this clause SPONSORSHIP: The venue or the promoter may not use, nor may they allow anyone else to use Open Air Stereo s name, likeness or music in conjunction with any product, company or sponsor without the prior written approval of Open Air Stereo s management. Furthermore, the venue or the promoter may not seek outside sponsorship of any of Open Air Stereo s show without prior written approval from Open Air Stereo s management. All existing venue sponsors must be listed in the space provided below. List Existing Sponsors in the space provided: Please initial as confirmation that you ve read and understand this clause TICKETING & NIGHT OF SHOW DOOR POLICY: If tickets are sold in advance and/or on the night of the show, all tickets must be accounted for and a bonded ticketing company must be used for the ticket creation. The ticket price for this show cannot differ from the ticket price listed on the show contract. The promoter will be held responsible for any and all tickets sold. Any and all venue comps must be approved in advance by Open Air Stereo s management. The venue or the promoter must pay for any unapproved house comps. As a rule of thumb, the venue or promoter shall not use more than 20 house comps for any show where the venue capacity is under 1000 and no more than 40 house comps where the venue capacity is under 2500.
When Open Air Stereo receives 100% of the gross door receipts, Open Air Stereo reserves the right to have their own designees collect the door proceeds. If Open Air Stereo elects to have their own designee collect door proceeds, the venue or the promoter will still be expected to provide adequate door security in addition to door people to check IDs and it will be up to Open Air Stereo s designee when the doors shall be opened. It is the responsibility of the venue or the promoter s security to prevent patrons from entering the venue without paying the door fee. **PLEASE REVIEW & SIGN OPEN AIR STEREO S TICKETING RIDER BELOW** Please initial as confirmation that you ve read and understand this clause Open Air Stereo Ticketing Rider ALL TICKET TEXT MUST INCLUDE OPEN AIR STEREO S INFORMATION & NO OTHER WEBSITE INFORMATION MAY APPEAR IN THE TICKET TEXT: WWW.OPENAIRSTEREO.COM Requirements for Ticket holds: Open Air Stereo shall have the right to reserve the greater of 10% of the capacity or 100 noncomp tickets for guest list and fan club association purposes. These tickets will be under a separate hold from comp tickets and will be referred to hereafter as Fan Club tickets. All tickets will be sold to Open Air Stereo by the venue at face value and no service charge may be accompanied with this transaction. If the venue is reserved seating, these tickets must be centrally located within the first 15 rows of the venue alternate rows starting with the 1 st row. Open Air Stereo will take these seat locations on consignment from the box office, and will distribute all tickets for its own fan club members as well as other Open Air Stereo invitees. Any unused locations will be released back to the Venue Box Office prior to the event date. Standard procedure: An Open Air Stereo ticketing representative will contact the designated event ticket manager with a hold confirmation sheet that will reiterate procedure, confirm all pertinent show information, and supply necessary contact information. Once this sheet has been reviewed and returned, Open Air Stereo ticketing representative will begin to take reservations. Three business days prior to the scheduled event date, a representative for Open Air Stereo will contact the designated event ticket manager and will submit a final number of reserved tickets and will release all unreserved tickets. Additionally, at this time an Open Air Stereo representative will fax/email a detailed spreadsheet of all ticket orders to the designated event ticket manager. Once the final holds and releases have been confirmed a check for all reserved tickets will be over-nighted to the designated event manager. Great care has been taken to streamline this rider and include only those items, which are absolutely necessary for a successful performance. Any modifications or exceptions to this document must be approved in advance by Open Air Stereo s production engineer or tour manager. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to see that all technical specifications are met! This technical rider is part of the attached contract for a performance by the artist. By signing it you are agreeing to provide the specified equipment and working conditions that are essential to the performance. Any breach of the terms of this rider is a breach of the contract and may cause Open Air Stereo to refuse to perform without releasing the purchaser from obligation to pay Open Air Stereo. Open Air Stereo reserves the right of final approval of any and all sound and lighting contractors which purchaser is seeking to utilize. Purchaser must provide to the booking agent and/or production engineer the contracting company's specifics prior to the company being hired. Open Air Stereo s engineer reserves the right to retain full control of the system equipment that is supplied, volume level, and equalization, for the duration of the performance. SOUND SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS: The sound system shall be a first class system in excellent working condition, provided by a professional sound contractor, with experienced house and monitor engineers provided.
Engineers shall have the sound system in place and in working order at the time of load in, and shall assist in microphone placement and wiring of the stage, and be present throughout the performance. The sound system shall be free of electrical noise caused by lighting systems, power grounding problems, etc. LIGHTING: Promoter shall provide professional stage lighting and operator. SOUND CHECK: A sound check will be required on the day of the performance. Please advance sound check with Open Air Stereo s tour manager. Please have main PA system fully operational prior to artist arrival. Input list and stage plot will be provided at the time of advance with Open Air Stereo s tour manager.
