In centralised configuration, typically for Hotels, large commercial complex etc, the Dimming/Lighting control system covers a number of floors/areas which are linked together and can be controlled from a central location. In this configuration, the dimming and/or lighting control modules as well as the control devices in each floor/area are separately looped to a common ethernet interface module. This ethernet interface module provides ethernet LAN connectivity to the nearest available ethernet switch, which is typically part of ethernet backbone of the building. The central PC connects to the nearest eternet LAN switch and can be used for centralised control, monitoring and configuration of the entire dimming & lighting system.
