Professionaly Install Products Right the First Time Profit with PROFIT Tributaries PROFIT System ProFit System employs radial compression technology which preserves the coaxial cables critical 75 ohm impedance by maintaining the outer diameter (O.D.) of the cable s dielectric. This is the only connection system that is AT&T approved and meets both SCTE (Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers) and Bellcore (Bell Communications Research) standards. Other cable terminations employ a hex crimp or screw terminal which crushes the dielectric, changing the O.D., and therefore changing the cable s impedance. Smith charts at 1 GHz have shown distorting the dielectric has in some cases dropped the impedance of a cable to 40 Ohms. Tributaries CAT5E Data Cables CAT5E is commonly used for phones, networks, multi room systems, and baluns. This enhanced version of Cat 5 has four 24 gauge solid wires twisted in pairs, this construction preserves a high signal-to-noise ratio despite interference from both external sources and other pairs. The tighter specifications associated with CAT5E cable make it an excellent choice for use with 1000BASE-T. Available in 6 colors, single or dual, shielded or direct burial, Tributaries CAT5E is UL CMR, CSA FT4 and is tested to 350MHz and allows 1Gbps of data transfer.
