Departmental Policies TOTAL HOURS REQUIRED FOR DEGREE A total of 120 hours is required for the degree. OVERALL GPA A GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for graduation. IN-MAJOR GPA All TA and CINE courses will be used to calculate the in-major GPA. A minimum in-major GPA of 2.0 is required for graduation. All major courses must be taken on an A-F basis, unless only offered as P/F. Prerequisites Some courses listed on this checksheet have prerequisites, please consult the University Course Catalog and current Timetable, or check with your advisor, for the most current requirements. Minimum Theatre Arts Credits A minimum of 36 TA credits, including the Shakespeare course, is required for the Theatre Arts degree.
