City of Pembroke Pines Charter School Central Campus Sea Castle PARK RIDGE ELEMENTARY Buddy Reading - Students will read with a partner and discuss the books as they read together. Read aloud in K-5 story book characters Chill Out With A Cool Book Students will wear any type of winter gear (coats, hats, gloves, scarves) so they can warm up with a good book throughout the day. They are also encouraged to bring towels/blankets to sit outside and read. Teachers will encourage and promote reading stamina Caught Reading - Teachers and staff will give tickets throughout the day to students who are "caught" reading.
