Features The is part of the SynCross system. SynCross is a Synapse based modular video routing system capable of switching 3Gb/s, HD and SD SDI signals, as well as compressed domain signals such as ASI/DVB and SSI/SMPTE-310. The SynCross routing system can populate Synapse frames from 1 slot with 8 in- and outputs (with the ) up to 5 slots for a 40x40 routing solution (Q2 2012). It is very simple to expand a SynCross system up to 40 in and outputs, both in electrical or fiber or a mix between optical and electrical. This system can be controlled over the Ethernet, Cortex Control Panels or Cortex. ACP and an Ethernet port are available for control with automation systems. The is the center part of the SynCross system and can be used standalone as an 8x8 router. Mixed IO Supports SDI, ASI/DVB, composite (SD) and SSI/SMPTE-310 DIN1.0/2.3 and/or LC fiber connections High density, 8 inputs and 8 outputs in one slot, up to 18 times 8x8 in 4 RU Router can be configured as square or non square router depending on amount of populated sfp cages configurable by customer System can run on two references. Both SD and HD at the same time Option to bypass reclocker for SMPTE-310 (19.4Mb/s) purposes Possible to integrate into other Synapse applications Expandable system starting from 8x8 up to a 40x40 router (Q2 2012) Control protocols SW-P-08 protocol over Ethernet (Q1 2012) ACP (Axon Command Protocol) commands i.e. Cortex or third party software Assignable hardware panels Relegendable buttons through Cortex and Cortex Control Panels (e.g. CCP1601, CCP3201 and CCP4801) Applications Video router for small applications Monitoring applications Master control applications with GDK-HDK series
