Ann Davis Christiane Pflug collection 984-989 2 audio cassettes 7 audio reels 5 cm of textual records Biographical sketch: Ann Davis (946 -) is a Canadian art historian and writer. She published Somewhere Waiting: The Life and Art of Christiane Pflug in 99 (Toronto: Oxford University Press). Collection consists of a series of recorded interviews gathered or commissioned by Ann Davis in the course of her research for her biographical work Somewhere Waiting: The Life and Art of Christiane Pflug. Several interviews were conducted by Ann Davis assistant, Elizabeth Schwaiger, who is a professional translator. The subjects of the interviews are people with whom Christiane had contact with throughout her life. For the most part, the interviews focus on the interviewees relationship to Christiane and/or her family. The collection also contains older recordings with the voice of Christiane herself.
