APPS V Digital tailstock Approach position, retract position, re-chucking, and more can be done simply and easily from the APPS screen. Besides being able to handle a variety of different workpiece types, it can also work with -code thrust selection as a standard feature. hrust force setting function/position setting function hrust and position settings can be made and saved for each workpiece on the tailstock setting screen. he saved settings can be recalled quickly for repeat orders. he settings can be rewritten in the program. Comparison of tailstock setting times Safety considerations Since tailstock operation errors can present hazards such as the workpiece falling, button operation can be enabled and disabled from APPS. No digital tailstock 180 sec. Digital tailstock 360 sec. 50% shorter Only available for machines with the digital tailstock. here are many other functions that facilitate your setup operations Explanation of marks Chuck and tailstock barrier If the tool tip enters the barrier area, the soft overtravel NC alarm will sound and the axis travel will stop. Workpiece comment entry Comments can be entered in the workpiece coordinate system. ool offset An easy-to-understand screen display includes tool names and illustrations of tool nose directions. he settings can be adjusted to enter and display the tool shape and wear correction at the same time. Offset data Selecting an O-number extracts and displays tool offset data to be used in the program only. he workpiece offset to be used can also be displayed. ool presetter ool offset measurement can be accomplished quickly with the tool presetter. Entering comments Comments (such as tool names) can be entered for each number in the tool offset screen. ool exchange position setting his is used for setting the tool exchange position. You can manually move the turret to the position for exchanging the tools. Groove width compensation OP function (NLX Series only) In groove cutting, compensation can be applied by switching the shift equivalent to the tool width and the tool nose point. his makes it possible to create a groove cutting program without paying attention to the tool width. Program operation is possible by specifying the groove profile. ool list ools used by the selected program are displayed as a list alongside simulated images of the workpiece shape, giving operators important data in an easy-to-understand visual format. Undo Sort function Registration of tool comments Insufficiency check his allows you to undo any mistakes made when entering offsets. ools can be sorted in order of pot number or tool number on the tool management screen. he tool name and comments can be registered for each tool number on the tool management screen. his function searches the program for tools that are not registered in the tool magazine, eliminating tool registration errors that can occur. APPS V aintenance support functions Comprehensive maintenance support to provide safety and peace of mind for all our customers. Designed to minimize machine breakdowns and offer peace of mind to all users, APPS is equipped with functions not only to prevent problems caused by lack of maintenance, but also to quickly deal with the problem when an alarm occurs. rouble shooting function When an alarm occurs, APPS identifies the cause of the trouble and provides solutions. Narrow down the cause of the problem based on each signal status After narrowing down the cause of the problem based on the status of the related I/O signals, APPS V displays a list of possible causes. Find appropriate solution with conversational input he release date varies depending on the machine model. For details, please consult with our sales representative. Inputting the actual machine status helps to identify the cause of the problem, allowing users to obtain an appropriate solution. After the operator answers the questions about the actual machining status, possible solutions to the problem are displayed. Visual AC function A figure displayed on the screen allows you to check the status of the AC. his makes it possible to check the status of the transfer pot and the AC arm rotation status although these parts are obscured by covers. he above is an image photo. 12 CELOS
