The patented Bonded-Pair design, featured in Belden DataTwist data cables, yields a unique performance advantage over standard UTP cable. Belden s innovative manufacturing process affixes the individual insulated conductors along their longitudinal axis, resulting in uniform conductor-to-conductor spacing and the complete elimination of gaps between the conductors. These are critical cable construction features because non-uniform conductor spacing and gaps change the physical characteristics of the cable such that the electrical performance of the cable suffers.
