Milton Keynes Theatre Stage Experience 2013 We are delighted to inform you that Stage Experience will return in 2013 with our very own youth production of Footloose. Stage Experience is a unique two-week long summer holiday performance opportunity not to be missed. We have 130 places available for talented young performers aged 10-21 to take part in a full scale musical theatre production and perform in three live shows on the Milton Keynes Theatre Stage. Led by a fantastic team of industry professionals, a real live orchestra and organised by Milton Keynes Theatre Creative Learning staff, why not spend your summer making your performance debut? Stage Experience will take place from Monday 19 th August Saturday 31 st August 2013 with show performances on Fri 30 th Aug @ 7pm and Sat 31 st Aug @ 2pm and 7pm. Places to take part in Stage Experience are by audition only, no previous experience is necessary but you must be prepared to sing, dance and act in front of a panel at your audition and a love of performing is essential. We also hold re-call auditions for those aged over 16 who we are considering for a principal role three weeks after the initial auditions. For anyone interested in backstage technical work, there will also be opportunities to take part in technical work placements. Stage Experience Fees If you are successful at your audition the fee to take part in Stage Experience is: 160 for ensemble cast members 180 for principal cast members The difference in price is due to the fact that principal cast members receive extra hours of rehearsal tuition. If you are successful at audition and we cast you in the show you will be notified of the fee you will be required to pay week commencing 6 th May. Please note that we do have bursaries available to young people from the lowest income families to cover the entrance fee cost.
