Advantys Model STBDAO5260 Output Module Overview The STB DAO 5260 is an Advantys STB two-channel, digital output module that features individual output point isolation and drives 115 VAC devices. The STB DAO 5260 is designed for control applications where output channel isolation is a requirement and the system includes separate power sources for each output channel and device. The outputs are designed to handle high duty cycles, and are rated at 2 amps per output point. This module supports field wiring to two-wire devices such as solenoids, contactors, relays, alarms or panel lamps. Each output channel includes configurable output polarity that allows the selection of logic normal mode, where a 1 indicates an ON signal to the field device, a reverse logic mode, where a 0 indicates an ON signal. The default setting is the logic normal mode and the outputs are configurable on a per channel basis using the Advantys configuration software. This output module included configurable Fallback modes and Fallback states in the event in the event of a loss of communications to the module. The Advantys configuration software allows the selection on a per output basis of the fallback mode, either a predefined state or hold last value. Selecting the predefined state, the fallback state can be selected as output ON or OFF in the event of a loss of communications to the module. By default, both output channels are configured to go to the OFF state as their fallback state. The Advantys STB DAO 5260 output module includes four LED indicators on the front of the module that provides a visual indication of the operating status of the module and its two digital output channels. The LEDs are positioned in the center of the module s bezel and include indicators for the Ready signal that indicated the health of the output module, the Fault signal to indicate an error condition and the output state, channels 1...2, (output ON/OFF).
