HD Encoders VMS Licensing Only 1 IP address is used for 4/16 channel encoders. WAVE uses 1 encoder license for every 4 encoder channels enabled. These channels can be split across multiple encoders as needed (not tied to physical devices or MAC addresses). Some VMS allow 1 license per encoder MAC address. Use standard baluns, distribution amps, etc. check compatibility with HD format/resolution.
