Cost-effective Lighting Solution Driver DALI Dongle Efficient alternatives to conventional CFL downlights Dimmable as standard feature ZigBee Dongle Only 12W are required for LG LED Downlight to produce a luminous flux of up to lumens. For over 2,000 and 3,000lumens, LG LED Downlight only requires 22W and 34W respectively. With this high system light output, LG LED Downlight is an economically efficient alternative to all 26W and 32W compact fluorescent lamps in single-and twin-lamp types. Dimming capability helps provide the amount of light suitable for different occasions. The standard version of LG LED Downlight is continuously dimmable via 0-10V. DALI and ZigBee controls are also applicable by simply inserting DALI or ZigBee dongle modules into an existing driver as an option. Energy saving can be maximized when LED lighting is integrated with lighting controls. Best luminaire efficacy With luminaire efficacy of 90lm/W, LG LED Downlight is twice as efficient as the average conventional downlight. This excellent efficacy is achieved through lighting chamber and reflector technology. The highly reflective surfaces in the lighting chamber and a diffuser film with high transmittance emit light without any loss. Finally, the reflector reflects light from the lighting chamber to provide high lumen output and uniform light distribution. Comfortable Light Quality Excellent color rendering LG LED Downlight achieves excellent color rendering levels of CRI 80 that reproduce the original colors of an object, without distortion. The Spectral Power Distribution(SPD) shows a comparison of the color characteristics of LG LED Downlight with traditional CFL source. At each point across the visible color spectrum, the fuller, more continuous curve of LG LED Downlight renders a much larger and more precise color set than CFL source. LG LED Downlight adopts a high-quality deep reflector to reduce glare significantly down to UGR <19. For 8inch models with a slim form factor, UGR < 19 is ensured by an inner anti-glare louver. LG LED Downlight provides comfortable and uniform light as well as high energy efficiency. Design Concept for Best Functionality Highly efficient cooling system Light weight Thermal management is critical to every aspect of a LED system. Light output, lifetime and color stability are all directly related to operating temperature. Active cooling systems were required to reliably cool all LED modules in extremely confined spaces but LG LED Downlight uses a passive cooling system that does not require any additional energy. LG LED Downlight adopts an aluminum reflector of high thermal conductivity and is designed to create an air flow path around the LED light source so that heat can be directly dissipated by the natural convection. In addition, the black-coated heat sink maximizes the heat dissipation by thermal radiation. Thermal Radiation Reflector with high thermal conductivity Natural convection Thermal Simulation 85 A breakthrough heat dissipation technology is built in, eliminating the need for a heavy heat sink and reducing the weight of product significantly. 02 A highly elastic plate spring is used for easy installation and removal of the product. In addition, the rounded edge of the spring reduces the possibility to damage the ceiling textile during installation and removal. Easy installation and removal The metal reflector, trim, and the polycarbonate lighting chamber all contribute to excellent product durability. 04 IK07 IP54 For waterproofing and dustproofing, a sealing gasket is inserted between an inner cover and a diffuser film. Therefore, the IP54 rating can be achieved without separate accessories such as a glass cover. 40 04 Future-proof The light module and driver of LG LED Downlight are modular components and have been designed for easy replacement.
