To contact us: Email eedback@ praisechartscom or call (00) 6956293 How Can Keep rom Singing Words music by Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Ed Cash rranged by Keith Everette Smith Based on popular recording rom Chris Tomlin album See The Morning The PraiseCharts Worship Band Series is a unique and growing series o arrangements by some o today s top new arrangers These arrangements are geared towards a contemporary RB horns praise band sound while at same time being scalable up to a mediumsized church orchestra The core parts (rhythm, vocals, and brass) may be enhanced with or parts in any combination Rhythm section: The Rhythm part is or section player (pianist, guitarist, or drummer) with all speciic rhythms and chords necessary or arrangement The Lead Sheet is a combination rhythm and vocal chart meant or vocalists, worship leader, or rhythm player needing more vocal cues The Piano, Vocal part includes a ull piano part in songbook ormat or those not comortable with playing rom a chord chart When playing with a complete band pianist would be advised to simpliy this part in order to "stay out o way" Vocals: We include both an ST Lead Sheet and a STB Vocal/Piano score When using ST part (soprano/alto/tenor), baritone/basses should sing melody (soprano) down an octave any exceptions are listed on score When part is written in unison, men should sing it down one octave or it may be done as a solo This method provides a contemporary sound in an easytolearn ashion lternate keys: There is at least one alternate key included to accommodate eir a keyboardbased band or a guitarbased band, to give orchestra a more playable key, or to make vocal range more accessible i necessary Or notes: Rehearsal numbers are given in orm o 1, 2, and 3, providing easy use o inger signals by worship leader who may want to make impromptu changes during worship Normally, 1 is verse o song, 2 is chorus, and 3 is a bridge or or section, but re are exceptions When a section is repeated in its entirety later in arrangement, it is labeled 1a or 2a, etc ll endings and repeats are clearly notated to acilitate se impromptu changes inally, each instrumental part includes lyric cues to aid player in keeping ir place Parts included in PraiseCharts Worship Band Series Lead Sheet (ST) or worship leader and vocal team Rhythm a more detailed chart or keyboard, guitars, and drums Piano/Vocal (STB) includes writtenout piano part and STB vocals c Guitar modiied Rhythm part in appropriate capo keys Core Worship Band instrumental parts (written as a section): Trumpet 12 Trumpet 3 (doubles lto Sax) lto Sax Tenor Sax 12 (doubles Trombone) Trombone 12 note on brass stylings: or most titles, brass parts should be interpreted with azz articulations and inlections in mind They have been notated very careully to aid player in this interpretation dditional Orchestral parts (se enhance arrangement, but Worship Band parts may also stand alone): Bass Trombone/Tuba Percussion 1,2 (Timpani, Bells, Sus Cym, etc) Written with core brass Bari Sax (doubles Bass Trombone) Written as a section Horn 12 (rench Horn) lute/oboe 13 Written as a section Clarinet (doubles 3 rd lute) ndividual string parts Violin, Viola, CelloBass (note, all multinote parts are divisi) Strings (Synth) string reduction or keyboards wwwpraisechartscom
