Silly is Out Talking is In (by the end of Kindergarten) But Friends can still be funny with each other. What is the difference between being Silly and being Funny? Silly Funny Definition: Weak-minded or lacking good sense; foolish; absurd; ridiculous; irrational (online dictionary) Laughter: It may sound more like a sneer; The people laughing may not look happy may look a little mean. Definition: Providing fun; causing amusement or laughter; amusing; comical Laughter: The sound is a full laugh; The people may look happy. The people are laughing at you. Value?: No real value offered by being silly. The people are laughing with you. Value: Value offered by making people smile and laugh about something that is truly funny.
