Visiting Artists Mnozil Brass One of the world s premiere brass ensembles, featuring three trumpets, three trombones (with one doubling on bass trumpet) and a tuba. With over 130 performances a year, the group has sold out houses around the world.
Visiting Artists Habanera Quartet France s leading saxophone quartet. Formed in 1993, the group has won eight First Prizes at international chamber music competitions around the world. Their specialty is giving eclectic concerts featuring classics, modern works and improvisation.
Visiting Artists Spanish Brass One of the most dynamic and admired brass groups on the international music scene. In 2017 the group received the I Bankia Music Talent Award in Spain, for the most influential musical artists.
Visiting Artists Pacho Flores Principal trumpet of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and founding member of the Simón Bolívar Brass Quintet. José Franch Multi-award-winning Spanish clarinetist, considered one of the finest classical soloists and chamber music artists of his generation.
Visiting Artists Sarah Willis Member of the Berlin Philharmonic, and presenter of TV and online programs about classical music, including Horn Hangouts. Julien Beaudiment Principal Flute with Orchestre de l Opéra National de Lyon. Former Principal Flute, Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Visiting Artists Simone Rubino Winner of the Universal Marimba Competition, ARD International Music Competition, Credit Suisse Young Artist Award and more. Jean Ives Fourmeau Saxophone soloist for Berlin Philharmonic and Radio France. First Prize winner at the Paris Conservatoire.
Visiting Artists Johan de Meij Dutch composer and conductor, noted for his Symphony No. 1 The Lord of the Rings and numerous works for wind ensemble. Jerry Junkin Artistic Director and Conductor of the Dallas Wind Symphony and the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia. José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana Composer, conductor, and music educator. Director of la Banda Municipal de Barcelona.
