LED (Light Emitting Diode) LED, short for Light Emitting Diode, uses solid semiconductor chips as light emitting materials. When positive voltage is attached to both ends, the current particles in the semiconductor will blend together and release super fluous energy, which elicits photon eradication to produce visible light. Application With its inherent characteristics like electricity savings, long life-span, shaking durability, quick responding and luminescence source, LED s are widely applied in the fields of indicator lights, signal lamps and display screens. We can find its application everywhere in our daily life, such as home lighting, telephone sets, panel lighting, car fog lights and traffic lights. Classification

LED Characteristics 1. High Light Emitting Efficiency After decades of technological improvements, LEDs are making great advancements in light emitting efficiency. Incandescent lamps or halogen lamps are 12-24 L/W, florescent lamps are 50-70 L/W, sodium lamps are 90-140 L/ W, much of the electrical consumption has become wasted. The light efficiency of upgraded LED can reach 50-200 L/W and with its great performance and narrow spectrum, it can emit colored visible light directly without filtration. At present, nations throughout the world are all accelerating the research of improving LED efficiency, and a greater improvements in the field will be made in the near future. 2. Less Electricity Consumption LEDs are driven by direct current, has a single-tube power of 0.03 0.06W, a single-tube driver voltage of 1.5-3.5v and a current of 15-18MA, which is quick in reaction and easily managed under high frequency. To achieve the same luminance effect, it consumes only one tenth of electricity as an incandescent lamps. 3. Long Life-Span LEDs have a life span as long as 100,000 hours, which is dozens of times longer than ordinary lamp tubes. With small volume, lightweight and encapsulated in epoxy colophony, it can endure mechanical impact and vibration. 4. High Credibility LEDs claim a low heat, zero caloric radiation, luminescent source and low voltage, which can be touched safely. No harmful elements like hydrargyrum or natrium are contained. Its built in micro-processing system ca control light emitting strength and adjust emitting mode so as to realize a combination of light and art. 5. Environment-Friendly Product No harmful elements are contained in LEDs. With no pollution, its castoff can be reclaimed. 6. Wide Applicability LEDs are a solid luminopher, which is shake resistant and not easy to crack under impact. Since its illuminants are small in volume and thus can be arranged at will, it is easy to assemble into a portable illuminating product, and the installation and maintenance is also very easy.

Classification 1. Application Indoor LED Screen Indoor LED screens have moderate luminance, wide viewing angles and vibrant blended colors. They are light weight and their high density makes them suitable to view at close range. Outdoor LED Screen Outdoor LED screens have a high luminance, far distance of blended colors and high grade of protection. They are suitable to view from a far distance. Construction Of LED Screens Independent cabinet structure is adopted, which is combined at will, easy to install or dismantle, and applicable for both indoor and outdoor use because of their waterproof and anti-ultraviolet design. 2. Color Capability LED Monochrome LED Monochrome Screen consists of LED Lamps of one color, only displaying one single color such as red, green or orange, etc. LED Bi-Color Screen LED Bi-Color Screen consists of LED lamps of red and green, which, with gray scale of 256 for each color, can display 65,536 colors. Real LED Full Color Screen Real LED Full Color Screen consists of LED lamps of 2 reds, 1 green and 1 blue, displaying white balance. Virtual LED Full Color Screen Multicolor display screen consists of LED lamps of 2 reds, 1 green and 1 blue, displaying white balance and 16,777,216 colors, 4 times higher than the real image of the same size in resolution. 3. Display Function Graphic LED Screen Graphic LED display screen can display text, graph and photos either online or offline. Video LED Display Screen Video LED screens can display different kinds of information simultaneously with real time, including a variety of video frequency information, such as two-dimensional or three-dimensional cartoons, TV programs, movies and live shows.

4. LED Type LED Dot Matrix Screen LED Dot Matrix Screen, usually for indoor application, consist of LED modules which pack LED wafers in the dot matrix plastic sets. LED SMD Screen LED SMD screens are a new technology developed in recent years. SMD (surface mounted device) is created by assembling LED chips into transparent plastics. By decreasing size, extending viewing angles and reducing weight, it makes a perfect application, especially for indoor screens. LED Lamp Screen LED lamp screens pack wafers in a cup-shaped epoxy colophony mantle, its two pins consist of LED lamps whose two conducting wires are the anode and cathode respectively. This kind of LED display is applicable in a wide field. LED Screen Formation First, pixel dots are assembled into a display module, then the display modules are assembled into a display cabinet, and finally assembled into a LED display screen through a random combination of cabinets. A LED screen is a large display system, which combines micro-electronic technology, computer technology and information processing technology. For its vivid color, wide dynamic field, high luminance, long life span and stable performance, LED screens are widely applied in advertisement, securities, information transmission and news information. LED screens are becoming more and more outstanding in electronic media and the most advanced display media in the world at present.

Indoor Full Color Screen 1. Indoor Product Introduction Indoor screens include SMD LED lighting, which has the widest viewing angle, but low luminance. Semi-SMD LED lighting has a wide viewing angle and a brighter luminance, and LED lamp screens which have a smaller viewing angle but a highest luminance. 2. Indoor Application of Products Indoor screens boast brighter colors, increased viewing angles (extending to 160 max), lightweight and simple structures.
