WWW.ARTTEACHERS.ORG EDITOR: TERRI CLEMENTS DECEMBER 2014 1 HO, HO, HO, A JOLLY BLESSED CHRISTMAS / HANUKKAH TO ALL. The holiday season is in full swing; hopefully you are ready for all the gala events in your schedule. By now all those gift painting projects should be finished and ready to be wrapped and sent off. With Black Friday over, lots of shopping done, now decorating and baking is high on the To Do list. Do not forget the REASON FOR THIS SEASON. The birth of a Savior and The Spirit of Love and Giving. Check out who you donate to, as there are many scams and wasted funds with some organizations. Not all funds are allocated to the end goal, as executives and expenses eat the large portion of donations. May your holidays be enjoyed to the fullest. GREETINGS TO ALL REGIONS AND TEAM MEMBERS. In 1990 Alexander Art held the first national conference in Estes Park, Colorado and implemented plans for a National Network of Teachers. 2015 is the 25TH YEAR from then and we wish to invite all of the TEAM network regions and their members to participate and celebrate with us in a NATIONAL 25 ANNIVERSARY MEETING in conjunction with our annual meeting at ST. SIMONS ISLAND, FL. MARCH 26-29, 2015. PRICES STAY THE SAME AT ST. SIMONS MARCH 26-29, 2015. What a wonderful working group of S. E. Regional members.!! Some of you may not know what goes on behind the scenes, but the prices of Epworth lodging have gone up every year. For over 5 years we have kept the prices the same for members and paid the difference out of our treasury. This year the question I asked our SE Staff and officers, Shall we keep the same price and pay the larger difference out of our treasury to help out our members? The response was overwhelming and several all quickly answered saying YES, KEEP IT THE SAME... They were enthusiastic about supporting our members and about the 25 th anniversary year. We are so thankful to have such a dedicated volunteer staff and officers who have YOU members at heart. Our wonderful committee have been working and planning a GREAT and wonderful time for this meeting, and we thank them. Now it is up to YOU to plan to attend and make all other regions who attend feel our great hospitality. SEE YOU THERE... ENCOURAGE YOUR FAMILY TO GIVE A GIFT OF ATTENDING THIS MEETING FOR CHRISTMAS.

2015 DUES OF $25 ARE DUE JANUARY 1 ST, 2015. Please mail to Fran Walker, 1003 Sonata Lane, Apollo, Fl. 33572. Please make checks payable to TEAM ACCOUNT and mark dues on it. Best wishes for a great Holiday season. Gloria RENA WOOLEVER WINS BEST IN SHOW. ROUGH SURF The art show was at Chipola College held Sunday, Nov. 2. There were about 70 artists that were exhibiting- in all mediums. The show brought about 500 people in to view the exhibit. Our dear friend and colleague, Kathi Sojka, original member of TEAM artists and TEAM teacher back to our William Alexander days, and a diligent TEAM worker through out the years has had a long siege with health problems with many surgeries. She is now at home from her most recent knee surgery with husband, Charlie as her Caregiver. We send our best wishes for a quick recovery as each day goes by and may our prayers for your good health be answered quickly! And for Charlie a kind and patient help with your recovery. **************************************************** Our condolences go out to Kathi Sojka on the recent sudden loss of her Stepfather and, also, to husband, Charlie with the loss of his Mother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you both. **************************************************** Here's hoping that Marianne Keefe is progressing along very well after her recent surgery. Take care, Marianne, and keep in touch with us on your progress One of our former members, Donna Robertson, passed away 8-7-14. Our prayers go out to her family.
