However, as an HDMI cable s length surpasses 6 meters, the integrity of the data flow can become an issue, especially if an electronic extender is not used. HM420 HDMI 4-in 2-out Matrix Switcher Designed as a high performance matrix switcher, the Tributaries HM420 accepts up to 4 HDMI inputs, any one of which can be directed to either, or both, HDMI outputs. This enables the viewing of two different sources at the same time. As the HDMI signals pass through the HM420, they are re-timed, level compensated, corrected for phase errors and jitter is eliminated.
