Step 2A: Write all of your research on your research guide graphic organizers. * You must use at least one source other than class notes* **HONORS STUDENTS MUST USE AT LEAST TWO SOURCES OTHER THAN CLASS NOTES** Step 3: Outline your paper using the outline provided. Step 4: Write your rough draft. Step 5: Have someone peer edit your paper. Step 6: Re-write your paper. Step 7: Proofread your own paper. Step 8: Write your final draft.
Requirements: When you turn in your final draft you must also submit the following documents stapled in a packet in this order: 1. Final Draft (100 points) 2. Proofread Rough Draft with proofreading sheet (15 points) 3. Peer-edited Rough Draft (15 points) 4. Completed Research Guide (20 points) Timeline: - 10/3&4 Complete religion research - 10/5 Outline - 10/6&7 Write Rough Draft and Peer-edit - 10/12 Final Draft Due (Time will be given in class that day but the essay is due at the end of your class period.) MLA Formatting Works Cited: You must include a works cited. Use the information from your source tracker to help you complete the works cited. You can use BibMe to help you generate the citations but you must hand write them. In-text citations: In-text citations will include the author s name and the page number if it came from a book. If you are citing a direct quote you must use quotation marks. Handwritten: The paper must be handwritten in blue or black ink. You must skip lines (double space) when you are writing your paper. Your paper will not be graded if you submit it in pencil or it is not double spaced.
