We also hope that it establishes a mutual understanding that the Brothers McClurg are coming to serve you and that, in turn, you ll seek to meet their needs attentively. Unless you are requesting Brothers McClurg specifically for their smaller Around the Mic worship experience, they typically travel with a team of seven individuals. They may opt to bring additional crew & equipment after reviewing your calendar reservation request. If you have any questions about this rider, or you d like to discuss the details of your event with me personally, please don t hesitate to reach out. I d love to help you. That s what I m here for. My office number is (315) 788-0825, my mobile number is (210) 452-1385, and my personal email is victoria.newlifenny@gmail.com. We look forward to co-laboring with you for the advancement of God s kingdom in the earth. Sincerely, Victoria Peryer Artist Representative Sprig Music Management New Life Christian Church PAGE 2

Ministry Vision Brothers McClurg s legacy of music and ministry spans three generations and has a rich heritage of serving the local church. What started out as two bands fronted by brothers Anthony and Chris Hoisington, has turned into a group of Christian brothers who share a desire to see lives changed through worship.. The band name pays homage to Anthony and Chris greatest influence: their maternal grandfather Pastor Bill McClurg, who led the southern gospel group The McClurg Family Singers. Chris explains, Brothers McClurg is a traveling version of your church s worship team, with many players and faces each adding to what God is doing in times of worship. We want to spur one another on, lifting up the name of Christ inside the church, as well as in the streets, says Anthony. Our goal is to rally the church to action, loving one another and also loving the unlovely and replicating this passion in every city and community we encounter. We see it as a way of continuing the legacy and ministry while giving it a fresh vision, says Chris. Hailing from Buffalo, the band has brought warmth and hope to an area known for its frigid winters, as well as its depressed economy now making national headlines for as upswing. The band s mission is to carry Jesus message of life, hope and forgiveness to a cities that have been told they re dead, hopeless and forgotten. The Brothers love their community through prayer and acts of service, blessing the Church and uniting the Body of Christ in worship. Their goal has always included breaking down denominational barriers, starting with themselves as each band member comes from a different church tradition. PAGE 3

Reservation Requests All requests for dates are entertained in the order they re submitted. We do our very best to accommodate your schedule; if we can t, we ll provide other dates Brothers McClurg may be available. The earlier you book, the better. Date Type Please specify the type of date you re requesting Brothers McClurg for when submitting your calendar reservation request. It should include: The purpose of the event (along with any clear goals) Estimated attendance (for product fulfillment purposes only) and audience type of the event (youth, adults, married couples only, etc) The duration of the entire event, as well as the specific portion that you re looking for Brothers McClurg to lead. This should include notable times for load-in, sound check, program meetings, etc. A list of any other speakers or performers participating in the event Details and description of the venue, including stage size Sound reinforcement details and any available back line equipment Honorariums Brothers McClurg exerts a tremendous amount of prayer, planning and preparation into each event. Setting aside time to serve and minister at these events, each member of the Brothers McClurg team leaves their individual families and hometown ministry functions to minister with you. With this in mind, Brothers McClurg requests an honorarium amount of $1,500 for Around The Mic dates, and $2,500 for full-band dates as a heartfelt thank you for their ministry investment into your people. We require a 10% deposit at the time of booking, made payable to Sprig Music (PayPal, credit card or by check), with the remainder made payable to Brothers McClurg and presented to Kevin Bish on the day of the event. PAGE 4

Logistics Travel As Brothers McClurg travels mostly by land, a mileage reimbursement of $50 for every 100 miles traveled is requested. On occasion airfare may be needed, as an alternate form of travel for single-date or large conference destinations beyond 100 miles. We ask that you provide round-trip economy airfare for each member of the band. Lodging If it s necessary for Brothers McClurg to stay overnight for your event, please provide lodging at no less than a three-star-equivalent hotel nearest your venue for up to seven team members (we ll inform you of groupings to economize space). We want them to be secure and well rested to serve you. Food Please provide meals (venue on-site or restaurant) or meal stipends (in cash form or room service credit of t least $10.00 USD minimum) for each breakfast, lunch and dinner that the team is in your care. Please help the team stay hydrated by providing at least two cases of bottled water for the event itself. Please provide food no later than two hours before doors open to the public. Please help the team s blood sugar levels to stay normal by keeping a snack of some sort available in their dressing room. A deli tray, veggie tray, bread, condiments for up to 10 people will be adequate. Please help our cholesterol and blood pressure by abstaining from the typical pizza and wings purchase. The team likes fresh, healthy choices (their wives thank you). Please have food ready in dressing room no later than 2 hours before doors open to the public. There will be occasions where additional hospitality requirements are needed. This will be discussed with you about your particular event. PAGE 5

Operations Band Roster The traveling band roster is: Chris Hoisington: lead vox, acoustic git Anthony Hoisington: lead vox, keys, acoustic git Jeremy Thompson: guitars (Member TBA): additional guitars (Member TBA): bass (Member TBA): drums Paul Mitro: FOH engineer Audio Please expect that Brothers McClurg to be louder than, say, the Gaither Vocal Band. As much as we enjoy them, we turn it up much more than they do. Brothers McClurg will in no way we be loud enough to the point of hurting anyone, or their ears, but just be advised that we will be moving some air as it were. To put it into scientific terms, expect us to make SPL meters read numbers between 100-105 dba, at our very loudest, and averaging 94-97 dba the rest of the time. Front of House Audio systems must be of professional quality, and must be able to achieve 110 dba of clean audio at the FOH mix position. Speakers must be stacked or flown to provide even frequency response and volume levels across the venue. Speakers need to be of professional quality, such as Electrovoice, EAW, QSC, Nexo, McCauley, etc. Amplifiers need to be of the appropriate power ratings for the speakers, and of professional quality, such as Crown MA or Itech, QSC Pl Series, Lab Gruppen, etc. System should be a 3- or 4-way actively crossed over system. Access to the crossover or software controlling crossovers is required. PAGE 6

Audio Console We travel with our own digital console. So we ll need a stereo XLR Left/Right lines ran to the mix position. If there is an opening act, please provide a console that will give them the inputs they need, without using ours. We have no problem sharing inserts, just not channels. Monitors We will be traveling with our own IEMs to make life easier. Stage/Mic Equipment Please be sure that the stage is clear prior to the band s arrival for setup. Also, be sure to remove any equipment that will not be used by Brothers McClurg from the stage. This will help us ensure that the event will start on time. Stage AC power adapter is to be provided. 3-20 amp circuits are recommended due to the use of tube amps. Refer to stage plot for placement. Main stage area is to be about 32 wide and 24 deep. There is no need for sound wings. Stage is to be level and solid. For the safety of everyone involved, it is extremely important that it does not bend or sway. Clear stair access will be required upstage left and/or right. Video Screen We will need at least one video screen with a projector on or very near the stage area, that is visible by all in the audience. If you are not sure how big the screen should be, please take the depth of the audience area, divide by 5, and that is a good start of how wide the screen should be in feet. Please be sure that the projector(s) is in proper working order and that the bulb has a reasonable amount of (less than 1000) hours on it. Please be sure that the video screen is not located in a bad location, such as directly in front of the band. It s preferred if the screen is flown upstage center. PAGE 7

Screen Media We ll bring a laptop with us for the words to be projected on the screen. Please provide a VGA video connection for us. This connection should be located at the FOH area, next to the sound console. If yours is in a special location, just let us know the day of the show. Please provide an operator for this computer, someone who is familiar with advancing lyrics for worship settings. If you re using a lyric display program that s proprietary to your sanctuary (custom designed, high end, etc), we will provide lyric content for your system in Rich Text Format (.rtf) for easy copy/pasting into your system. Back-Line Equipment If you re providing back-line, please provide the following: Drums: DW kit, 20x14 Kick, 12 & 14 toms. The 12 will be rack mounted, the 14 will be on the floor. Please provide legs for the floor toms; they do not go next to each other, so a stand for both will not work. We will bring a snare and cymbals. Bass: Ampeg SVT classic head and 4x10 cabinet Guitars: 1 Vox AC30 or 1 Fender Twin Reverb Keys: 1 Nord Stage Piano If you have any questions about the above, don t hesitate to call Kevin Bish at +1 (716) 807-8244. Load In and Sound Check It is important that there is a reserved parking spot large enough for a Ford E350 van and 15 trailer as close as possible to the nearest stage entrance of the venue. Brothers McClurg will need full access to the stage, sound system and lighting system no later than 4 hours before the venue is open to the audience. If Brothers McClurg is providing their own sound system, access to venue must be available no later than 6 hours before the venue is open to the audience. Proper attention here will PAGE 10

ensure the event will start on time. Sound check is not open to the public under any circumstances. Any persons on stage or in the event area that are not with Brothers McClurg or not necessary to the work needed for the event will be asked to leave the event area until doors open to the public. Load in times and sound check times for support acts should be coordinated with Brothers McClurg before the day of the event. Recordings While we appreciate professional audio/video recordings of Brothers McClurg s presentations, we ask that none of their works be sold without the expressed written permission of Sprig Music. Please contact us if you wish to discuss this further. Merchandise Please indicate if sales of published materials (audio, video, printed) will be permissible at this event. If so, what percentage the House requires (if any). Brothers McClurg relies on merchandise sales to offset the cost of traveling and other expenses. We also use the merchandise table as an opportunity to extend our ministry to a one on one basis. Please provide one (1) 8-foot banquet table, power and adequate space in your lobby or main exhibit hall for merchandise table. Please provide two (2) competent and accountable people to handle the sale of the merchandise as to leave the band free to talk and minister. Promotions A biography and promotional photograph can be downloaded from the Electronic Press Kit at: http://sprigmusic.com/artists/ brothersmcclurg/ We recommend a minimum promotional campaign start date no less than 8 weeks out from the event date, with standard campaigns beginning at +6 months. Typical marketing practices for your event could include: PAGE 11

Social media campaign on your church s or organization s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts Graphic insert placements in Sunday church bulletins, community newspapers, and other regular print circulars Graphic slides displayed during church announcement segments Banner ads displayed on your main website Newsletter inclusion highlighting the event, and personal emails to key leaders Full color posters (11 x17 ) Full color hand bills (4.25 x5.5 ) We highly suggest that all graphic design is handled by a professional artist. If you do not have adequate resources at your disposal, please let us know. Next Steps If you have any questions or comments about the information presented in this rider, please don t hesitate to ask me. That s what I m here for.
