Find a convenient outdoor location to mount your antenna, then scan for channels. Note: Before final mounting, first test your selected antenna location by scanning for channels. In some instances, you may decide to relocate the antenna for better reception. If you are about 25-35 miles away from the tower, we recommend to connect antenna without amplifier. If you are about 35-50 miles away from the tower, we recommend to connect antenna with amplifier. Note: Please do remember to connect the power adapter to amplifier no matter the Gain control is at the Max or Min position, otherwise the antenna won't work properly. You can now pinpoint the exact amount of gain you want to use, in order to get the best possible signal to your TV. If you are closer to your broadcast towers, then you are going to want to use less gain. If you are far away from your broadcast towers, you will want to use more gain. AC 120V DC 5V Gain Control INSTRUCTIONS: - Connect your antenna's cable to the input jack of the amplifier, then connect the amplifier's built-in cable to the antenna port on your TV or converter box. - Connect the power according to the diagram above. You can use the included wall adapter, or just use the USB cable on a USB port on your TV to power your amplifier. 5

FEATURES: - Boost the reception of your digital TV antenna signal. - Enhances the performance of passive antennas in remote areas where the signal isn't strong. - Preserves signal purity with Extremely Low Noise (ELN) circuitry. - Turn a TV with spotty reception into one with crisp and clear signal. TIPS: - Always try your antenna with and without the amplifier attached. Depending on how close/far away you are from your towers, the amplifier can help or hurt your signal. - Go to antennaweb.org and enter your street address. This will show you where the broadcast towers near you are located. - Move your antenna around to see where you can obtain the best signal. Any time you move it, or adjust the gain on the amplifier, it is recommended to run another channel scan. Run a channel SCAN after connecting and positioning antenna Also Scan: - Anytime antenna is moved - Every month - If you lose a channel Scanning finds all available channels, including newly added or changed. General Instructions 1. Select MENU on the remote control that came with your TV or digital converter box. 2. Select Channel Settings or Tuner Settings 3.Select Signal Source 4. Select Antenna or Air; not Cable 5. Select Channel Search or Channel Scan Steps may vary. See your television s manual. 6

Antenna Placement Options and Tips Signal reception and quality depends on the distance from the broadcast tower to your home. Surrounding geography and environment may also affect signal strength and reception. If your reception is sporadic or needs to be improved, try the helpful tips below: 1.Place the antenna in a higher location. If 32ft Coaxial Cable is shorter than desired distance between the antenna and TV set, please extend Your TV Antenna Cable after the Amplifier with Gain Control. Note: Coaxial Cable (25 or 50 Feet) with Coaxial Coupler are sold separately. www.pingbingding.com 2.Face the antenna towards the nearest broadcast tower. 3.If you find the channels are less than expected, Please refer to How many channels can I receive? In FAQ below. Important: Always re-scan for channels whenever you move your antenna. Frequently Asked Questions How many channels can I receive? The number of channels you can receive will be determined by what is broadcasting in your area. Channel reception will vary from location to location based on terrain (including trees, buildings, hills and mountains). The fewer obstructions, the better your chance of receiving strong digital signals. Go to https://www.fcc.gov/general/ digital-television and find DTV Reception Maps, enter your address for a listing of likely channels available in your area. Will all the channels receive be High Definition (HD)? Not all digital signals are High Definition (HD). Make sure you are using a High Definition Television (HDTV) with built in ATSC tuner. When connecting the antenna to a thirdparty receiver (set-top box), make sure it is capable of receiving HD. Otherwise no HD channels can be viewed. Will picture quality be better than with cable? All cable companies compress their HD signals. The result is a degraded signal that is usually inferior to ATSC broadcast. Many factors determine whether your picture quality will be better in every instance. Can I connect the antenna to multiple televisions? Yes. However, the signal should only be split between multiple HDTVs if using an amplified antenna. 7

Troubleshooting Why can't I receive a signal? 1. Check to make sure you have correctly connected the antenna to your HDTV or thirdparty HD receiver. See Connect the Antenna to TV or Set-top Box in this manual. 2. Re-scan for channels. In the TV's setup menu, set the mode to 'Antenna' or 'Air'. Refer to the TV manual for detailed instructions. While in the TV's setup menu, set TV to scan for channels. This can sometimes be listed as 'auto-program', 'channel search', or 'channel scan'. Refer to your TV manual for detailed instructions. 3. Reposition the antenna in a different location, such as higher on a wall. Also try facing the antenna directly towards the broadcast tower. Signal strength will vary based on the surrounding conditions. Distance from the tower, and surrounding hills, buildings and even tall trees can impact reception. Always re-scan for channels after moving the antenna. Why can't I get a specific channel that is known to be available in my area? One channel is missing. 1. There may be obstructions between the antenna and the broadcast tower of your desired channel. Please try to reposition the antenna and re-run the channel scan. 2. Try to mount the antenna horizontal/ vertical, with/without twisting Metal (turning 90 ) and re-scan for channels. Why can't I get any channels from the antenna? 1. Your TV may not be functioning in the desired mode, or may not be scanning for channels properly. Please refer to the manual of your TV for detailed instructions. 2. There may be obstructions between your antenna and the signals. Please try to reposition the antenna and rescan for the channels. 3. Your TV may not have a built- in digital tuner, or your STB may not support HD tuning. Please use a TV or STB that supports HD digital tuning. Why is my reception so poor? The signals at the position of your antenna may be very weak due to obstructions in your surroundings. Please try to reposition the antenna and rescan for the channels. It may help to place the antenna in a higher position. The picture or sound freezes while I am watching a channel, or there are boxes in the picture. This is often caused by a weak or intermittent signal. Try moving the antenna to a different location or aiming it in the direction of the tower the channel is being broadcast from. 8
