You can get immediate access to real-time data such as waveform oscilloscopes and power meters to show you precisely what is happening on your system now. Events are plotted against power tolerance curves such as CBEMA or the newer ITIC curve. Unlike other software, Scenario provides you with plots of any chosen parameter from multiple monitoring sessions on one graph, for a comprehensive picture of your power system. Full disclosure technology is crucial to predictive maintenance. Starting with benchmark measurements of power conditions, you can then build a power quality index (PQI) and follow it over time to spot any deterioration. Scenario provides the tools to compare the PQI against any other parameter, allowing you to isolate problems and take decisive action. Flexible Communications The InSite Power Recorder comes standard with an Ethernet RJ45 port and can be configured for TCP/IP communications. You can connect to InSite monitors over Ethernet networks, intranets, or even the Internet. You can also connect to InSite monitors by dial-up phone lines using Reliable s new, low-cost Ethernet Modem Router Model 2140. Up to 253 Power Recorders in a network can be connected on a single phone line, giving you access to 759 We ve got the best technology to fit your power monitoring needs Handheld For quick checks and spot readings on voltage, current and harmonics Reliable 43R. Energy Manager/Power Quality Expert Predicts Future Problems Will Work Anywhere 24X7 The InSite Power Recorder

Introducing the New InSite Power Recorder System. The Ultimate in Power Monitoring at a Very Economical Price. What is InSite? The InSite Power Recorder is the most advanced instrument of its kind. It can be installed at any permanent location where all aspects of power need to be monitored. You can use it in substations; switchgear; for monitoring incoming and internal power at data centers, factories, or commercial buildings. What Does it Measure? The InSite simultaneously measures power quality, energy, power consumption, harmonics, and flicker. PC software displays real-time meters and oscilloscopes. Power Quality: Sags, swells, wave-shape deviations, transients, interruptions, frequency, imbalance. Power Consumption and Power Flow: Energy, demand, watts, VA, VAR, PF, and kwh. Harmonics and Flicker: Harmonics measurement to 63rd harmonic, THD, flicker to IEC 868. Harmonics Tracking: Summaries of all 63 individual harmonics over time, voltage, and current. Real-time Meters and Oscilloscopes: Voltage, current, power, waveforms, harmonic spectrum, flicker, and impedance. Why is it Unique? The InSite utilizes Full Disclosure technology, and like other Reliable portable and fixed monitors provides predictive maintenance analysis. Mount in switchgear or NEMA cabinets. Full Disclosure: The InSite comprehensively captures all power information, without requiring pre-set thresholds or triggers. Everything you want to know is measured and analyzed on all channels. Predictive Analysis: Scenario Predictive Maintenance software reveals potential power problems before they happen. It answers such crucial questions as: Is my power getting better or worse? Where in my system is my power better or worse? Why is my power getting worse? Armed with this information, you are able to take corrective action and avoid costly disruptions. Easy to Install The InSite monitor is housed in a small (10.25" x 8.7") rugged enclosure, and weighs only 7.5 pounds. It comes with easily accessible terminal strips for voltage and current connections, and has built-in current transformers for monitoring current metering circuits found in substations and switchgear (external CT option also available). Easy to Use An InSite monitor is up and running in minutes. There are no complicated menus or programming steps, no thresholds or triggers to set, and there s no need to manage memory and turn one type of measurement off to enable another. It s a true multitasking and multi-functioning monitor. RPM s intuitive, Windowsbased software will provide you with a summary report, event graph or meter value with a couple of clicks of your mouse. Set up a network of any number of InSite Recorders via LAN/WAN or dial-up connection. Utility Substation Switchgear UPS/Generator Output Data Center

Assure Power Quality, Capture All Disturbance Events Finding power disturbance events by severity or time is simple. The InSite Power Recorder automatically presents events against power tolerance curves that plot events by severity, or by a history summary showing time of occurrence. Events can be plotted against industry standard curves such as CBEMA, ANSI, or ITIC, or you can create your own curve for your situation with RPM s unique curve editor. Curves can be edited, reshaped, and superimposed on event data any time, even after monitoring. The InSite Power Recorder is the only monitor that can catch any event of any length. It behaves like an automatic fault recorder by automatically adjusting time-bases to give the best presentation of waveshapes, sags, swells, and transients with pre- and post-trigger information. The InSite Power Recorder makes it easy to identify the origin of sags and swells by simultaneously capturing both voltage and current information and plotting them together. The high sampling rate of the Model 901 InSite Power Recorder enables it to catch transients down to 130 µs in duration, and is ideal for capturing power factor correction capacitor and other switching events originating on distribution systems. Events plotted against CBEMA curve Events plotted against ITIC curve RMS summary (V or I) Historical summary of events Captured waveshape event (transient) Monitor Distortion, Track Harmonics and Flicker 63 harmonics and THD are measured on every cycle on all channels. Manage Power Consumption and Energy Costs The InSite Power Recorder measures watts, VA, VAR, and power factor (true and displacement) on a cycle by cycle basis. It provides summaries showing minimum, maximum, and average values for each phase as well as totals of all phases. Graphic reports can be pasted into a word processor, and the data can be easily exported to spreadsheets. For energy use, any demand period from 5 minutes to one hour can be selected for plotting demand profiles, with or without a sliding window. PC software displays real-time meter screens showing fundamental as well as true power quantities (i.e., including harmonics) and accumulates kwh. A power cube plots active, reactive, and harmonic power to provide a quick visual display of the extent of harmonic distortion. Watts VA Power Factor (true and displacement) Demand and kwh VAR Imbalance (V or I) The InSite Power Recorder offers the most advanced tools to view any aspect of power in real-time. For example, you can obtain oscilloscope traces of any voltage or current channel, plot an individual waveform, or all of them together. Add and subtract tools allow you to compare calculated waveforms with measured ones to identify ground loops or leakage currents. Monitoring connections can be verified View Power Conditions in Real-time with a phasor diagram screen. You can even change any connection or current transformer polarity from the safety of your PC using software buttons. Other screens display harmonic spectra, flicker components, load and source impedance. You can view any real-time screen at any time, even when the InSite Power Recorder is recording disturbance events and monitoring consumption.
