SPECIAL TOOLS BULLETIN Title: MANDATORY VOLVO SPECIAL TOOL LIST Supersedes the November 16, 2009 edition. 1 of 12 Car Market: United States, Canada : YEAR MONTH DAY 2010 07 29 The following tools have been classified as mandatory by Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, and must be purchased by Volvo Retailers. Volvo mandatory Special s are necessary for technicians to properly diagnose and repair Volvo cars. They are used in development of Volvo labor operations and repair methods, and promote safety and quality repairs in a timely manner. s are classified as mandatory because associated repairs and/or diagnostics cannot be completed properly without them. All tools on this bulletin (except where noted) have already been sent out to all retailers. When there are new mandatory tools, a new Special Bulletin is issued, and tools are automatically sent out to all retailers either by Volvo or by SPX/Kent-Moore.
