Concert 3 Offspring meets Lunaire SATURDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER, 3PM The energetic and exciting Ensemble Offspring perform rarely heard works for percussion and clarinet alongside the well-loved Beethoven Diabelli Variations performed by Lunaire Collective in a new arrangement for winds and piano by pianist Stephen Emmerson. Concert 4 Mystical Tyalgum SATURDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER, 7 PM Tyalgum Festival favourite, Camerata of St John s return to perform an enchanting string orchestra program featuring the Gyuto Monks of Tibet, tenor Andrew Goodwin and soprano Heather Lee. Listen to lyrical arias for tenor and strings and a specially composed work by Kim Cunio creating a mystical journey of ancient harmonic chanting, rhapsodic strings and soaring vocal melodies. These stories, in the form of recollections, texts and songs are derived and created by members of the community in collaboration with acclaimed director and composer Cathy Milliken. They will be woven together with favourite repertoire chosen by local choirs and musical groups bringing to life a festival performance focussed on the unique village of Tyalgum.
