Elizabeth - Loneliness 0:00:11 Jon: I'm so glad to be meeting with you, and I'm looking forward to really getting something done that will be useful to you. It's my intention that you leave happy with what we've gotten done, and that it create a significant and lasting shift that will improve things for you. So, that's what I'm looking to get done. If we could reach inside and turn dials and make shifts or adjustments take place that would affect the way you automatically feel, or think, or react to things. What then should we get done? Commentary: I begin the meeting by showing Elizabeth that I m pleased and excited to be with her. Then, I state that my intention is that she s happy and that something will shift and improve things for her. I speak about how this improvement will be something that she will be noticing happening automatically. That s very different from telling her that she needs to be working on herself. 0:01:02 Elizabeth: Depression, feeling of loneliness, anxiety at times. 0:01:15 Jon: I understand. 0:01:16 Elizabeth: Yeah. Panic. 0:01:21 Jon: Did you say panic? 0:01:21 Elizabeth: Panic, yeah. Panic. It's really subsided since I've gotten here, but I also panic. 0:01:32 Jon: You're doing a good job of letting me know what's been going on. And I wonder when you've been noticing these feelings of anxiety, has it been mostly sensations in the body, or has it been mostly thoughts in your mind, or a combination of them? Commentary: I complement her on how she s doing a good job in letting me know what has been going on. I ask her to give me further information about what she has said so that I can understand and follow what she wants me to know. 0:02:03 Elizabeth: Combination of them. And I could feel my heart start, and... 0:02:08 Jon: Yes. And have the thoughts been about the sensations? Have the thoughts been about what you're feeling in your body? 1

0:02:21 Elizabeth: Yes. 0:02:21 Jon: Has it been predominantly what the thoughts have been about? 0:02:24 Elizabeth: Yes. 0:02:24 Jon: Got it. And the other thing that you mentioned was depression and loneliness. I want to understand more about what you mean. 0:02:43 Elizabeth: Okay. I always feel like I'm different. I don't fit anywhere. That's about my loneliness. And then I get depressed; that's why I relapsed with alcohol. And the depression, I could just stay in a bed 24, 48 hours, me and my bottle. 0:03:13 Jon: So, currently, today, does it feel like depression today? 0:03:24 Elizabeth: I'm having a wonderful day today. 0:03:27 Jon: Wonderful. And so, something is certainly shifting. 0:03:34 Elizabeth: Yes. 0:03:35 Jon: Very good. And we're looking for the way your mind is working even below the level of conscious awareness to be working in a way that makes life smoother, and easier, and clearer as you remain rock solid in what it is that you're intending. Did I make sense in what I just said? Commentary: It would have been more effective to say, makes life smooth, easy and clear as you remain rock solid. I m not sure that the unconscious responds well to comparison like smoother or easier. Yet, she certainly is receiving these words as positive and uplifting. I m checking to make sure that she s with me on this and that it is making sense to her. Her comment at 0:04:11 confirms this. 0:04:11 Elizabeth: Yes, absolutely. Absolutely. 0:04:12 Jon: Okay. I just wanted to make sure you heard me. 0:04:14 Elizabeth: Absolutely. The one thing, also, is my job. I've been a nurse for 35 years, and I work in an intensive care unit. And I'm kind of tired of seeing the sick and dying; that also adds to my depression. 0:04:36 Jon: I really like working with nurses. And I knew when I met you in the hall that you were bright, and there was something about you that I was liking. And now, it makes more sense to me. 2

Commentary: I think that mental health professionals are trained to be professional which sometimes turns into lack of being personable and appreciative. So, here, as I speak about myself by saying, I like working with nurses and there was something I knew I liked about her and now it makes sense, I m emphasizing being personable rather than professional. 0:04:52 Elizabeth: Thank you. 0:04:53 Jon: Getting what you do and how you are actively involved as a healer. And I noticed that you have not only much scientific and technical knowledge with that, but a presence that shines out and enables that also. And you know that those things coming together are where the real power is, in terms of getting people better. So, I'm even more pleased to be, then, collaborative with you because everything we do then affects so many others also. So, here's how I think of things. There's a level at which he would be able to tell us what he's feeling or thinking. I think of that as the level of awareness. However, at the level of awareness where he's feeling it, he's not deciding to be feeling it. He's not causing the feeling. Commentary: I m noticing appreciatively her achievement in nursing and the scientific and technical knowledge that she has, but I m also noticing appreciatively that she has a presence and this is again something that with Elizabeth causes the experience of connection and, I believe, is uplifting. 0:06:18 Jon: Think about a guy who's holding a Bluetooth speaker and he's shaking it and growling at it, and you say to him, "What are you doing?" And he says, "I hate the songs it's playing. I'm trying to get it to play different songs." And you patiently explain to him that that song is being played through the speaker but it isn't being played from the speaker. 0:06:50 Jon: So, I think where people are feeling things, the feeling is playing through but not from. And that's why, if we ask somebody who's feeling something to feel something else, they don't have the ability to shift it even if somebody's really happy, and you'd say, "Well, now be really sad," he doesn't have the ability to shift it. Much less if he's sad to be happy, because at the level he's feeling it is not where it's coming from. So, I think there has been this level below conscious awareness. I picture it like as layers of the earth and the level below conscious awareness is where feelings and thoughts and sensations are caused, and at that level below conscious awareness, mind is reading information, and from that causing feelings. 3

0:08:02 Jon: But I think that our minds are super complicated. I think that our nervous system is not built for the situation we're in but built for a situation a zebra might be in. And I think that our brains are not only taking in incoming information like every other life form but are creating information where you can write novels. Storing information; you know where you went to high school. And there's so much that gets discombobulated from that. So, I'm interested in having an effect on what's going on at that level, so that the change is experienced as automatic and natural. And I could tell that you get what I'm talking about. 0:09:11 Jon: Now, there's one more piece I want to make sure I understand before I go forward, and that is where you spoke about feeling different. Help me get that. Is it a conscious thought that you could logically describe how you're different, or is it more of a feeling that's been there for a long time? 0:09:41 Elizabeth: It's been there a long time. 0:09:44 Jon: That's what I was sensing. 0:09:46 Elizabeth: Yeah. 0:09:47 Jon: So, it's not really coming from some conscious assessment, is it? 0:09:54 Elizabeth: No. 0:09:57 Jon: And by a long time, would you say that it was there even as adolescent, maybe? 0:10:04 Elizabeth: As a child. 0:10:05 Jon: That's what I thought. Yeah, yeah. Okay. I get it. And so that's a data read and it wouldn't be possible for any other life form to have that kind of data read, would it? So, there's no zebra out there who's saying, I feel like I'm different from other zebras. Couldn't be happening but our overly complicated human mind, not very well built but incredibly complex, inadvertently, things get caught or stuck that cause things like that, surprisingly, particularly among people who are more intelligent. And so I get that that hasn't been anything you've been consciously doing. And so, it wouldn't have been anything you could have consciously undone. You can't stop doing something that you're not doing. Advice you've been given, like forgive and love yourself and all that kind of stuff doesn't actually touch it and not from lack of trying but it just doesn't do it. 4

Commentary: I have described a way of thinking about how mind works, how emotions are caused, how feelings are caused and how thoughts are caused. After it has been described objectively, I then can apply the same principles to her. I cause her to understand that what s she s been experiencing has to do with the way mind has been processing information outside of conscious awareness. Hence, it s something that has been affecting her, but isn t her. I m protective of where I suggest identity lies. 0:11:55 Jon: If we could create a visual that would be visually representing what it is we're talking about. And what we're talking about is that that deeper level of mind has been reading data in a way that has, in this situation been disadvantageous causing that feeling that was troubling. If we could create a design, I think, abstract design, I think it doesn't have recognizable content. I'm thinking modern art or finger paints, if we created a design representing that. One gal told me for her it looked bright and jagged, but another gal told me it looked dark and twisted. If we create a design that's representing the way that mind has been reading data, causing this feeling of different, would the design that we make up have colors or would it have shades, like grey and black? 0:13:26 Elizabeth: Shades. 0:13:27 Jon: Do you see any shape in that design? 0:13:33 Elizabeth: Soft curves. 0:13:34 Jon: And can you sense the feeling, then, of different, even now? 0:13:41 Elizabeth: [Nods] 0:13:42 Jon: Okay, perfect we're all set. Now, as I've been paying close attention to what you've been saying about that, and you can tell that I'm paying close attention and really hearing you, I'm also, though, seeing what it is at the highest level as intended for you. And by highest level, I mean what's best really for the whole world, which of course, includes you as what is best for you is what's best for the whole world. And so there, I'm seeing you where mind is updated, rebooted, refreshed and cleared. I'm seeing you where your mind only entertains what has value. This is the intention, and by value what I mean is that it has these two characteristics. One is that it's possible, and two is that it will be good to have done it. And if it doesn't have both qualities that mind no longer can hold it. So, that's what I'm looking at for you. And so, where then would this thing, "I am different" be? And the answer is, well, does it have value? And not that we can see. 5

0:15:39 Jon: Hence, I'm seeing you where mind no longer can hold that or entertain that concept any more than you could get a zebra to entertain the idea that she's different than other zebras. So, that's what I'm looking at for you. I don't need you to see it with me clearly, just as I'm seeing it right now. I don't need you to do that. Just to see me as I describe it to you because, in so doing, I can tell that that's okay with you. And since I know it's okay, we now have the same intention, and the same purpose, and the same vision. And with that, our energy comes together and, as energy comes together, it has to expand. And the expanding energy is fuel. Fuel, power that fuels the shift that is already taking place below the level of awareness, so that it's natural, automatic, effortless, just happens. And I'd like to show you a couple of things with energy that I think you'd find interesting, if it's okay. Commentary: I have demonstrated an understanding of what it is that she has been experiencing and, next, begin to create the intention. The point of power is now separating what can be recalled from what it is that is intended. 0:17:32 Elizabeth: Yes, absolutely. 0:17:34 Jon: The first thing we'll do then is I'll ask you to rest your hands on mine, and then I'll ask you to look at your hand and I'll show you something interesting that happens. So, if you would slide toward me where you can easily rest your hands on mine. Good. And you can just let them fall and you look right at that hand, that right hand. Look at a spot there. Don't look away from the spot. Commentary: The accelerator begins by telling her what to do and then telling her what it is she ll experience. By directing what she does and being correct in describing the experience, I m crossing the membrane from me telling her something she doesn t disagree with or, hence, agrees with, to her experiencing that things that I m saying are happening, that saying them are causing them to happen. Because by saying something, I m causing it to happen, I can cause this shift to take place within her mind where there isn t conscious awareness that she can then become conscious of. 0:18:05 Elizabeth: Okay. 0:18:06 Jon: Keep looking at that spot. In a moment, but not yet, in a moment, I'll ask you to lift the hand but when you lift it, to lift it as slowly as possible, like you're in a contest on who can lift most slowly. Think of how slow grass grows as you begin lifting that hand up, lifting it up as slowly as you can. That's good. You're going to notice an energy from my hand beneath your hand as it lifts. You're going to notice that you can feel an energy as your hand is lifted off of mine, that you can feel that energy with the palm of your hand, and in front of your fingers, and then you're going to notice that your hand begins doing things 6

that you're not making it do. You'll notice little jumps, jerks, twitches that take place without you causing them. 0:19:10 Jon: You'll notice that you're watching your hand do things, that you're the observer, that you're seeing your hand doing things, and there it goes, doing things you're not making it do. Jumping and jerking in ways that you are not causing. And you close your eyes and you're aware of movement through your hand. But then, when you feel my hand again touch your hand, that's when your arm again just collapses and falls. So, everything just falls. And that way, as your arms are very gradually lowered down, awareness is drawn in to where at the center there is ease, and peace, and clarity. 0:20:26 Jon: Now, each process we engage in will build on the one before it; that's inevitable, so that each time, further and more. And what's further and more is that mind is opening to take in what's of real benefit. I'm going to rest your hands and arms down. I'm going to do it as you just rest further and further. And then, conceive of next time faster, easier, further, deeper. Take your own time, ever so slowly. Find your way back to once again where eyes can open. [Pause] That's perfect the way you're doing that. Excellent. [Pause] That's it. Next time, even further, even faster, like just drifting even more. But now, finally, up 'til, for a little while, eyes can...open. And what did you notice in terms of thought in those few moments? Commentary: I have heard the content of what she said here, but also how it s delivered. I ve learned enough to know that she s, indeed, experiencing something unusual for her. So, it s unusual, it s not unpleasant. That s enough for me to move forward. By interrupting then and asking about feeling, I am controlling what s going on and moving things forward. 0:22:56 Elizabeth: [Pause] I'm not sure. Just... 0:23:05 Jon: Perfect. And what was the feeling that went with not sure? 0:23:10 Elizabeth: [Pause] I felt quiet. 0:23:19 Jon: Like quiet, yes. Now, hand goes out to like to shake my hand, right to here. I want you look at that spot that I touched, look at the spot. Don't look away. I'm going to move my hand so you can see it out of the corner of your eye. I m moving it toward your hand, and at a certain point, there's an energy that you'll notice in two different ways. One is that your hand is moving from that energy and moving in closer to mine. It's being pulled into that energy. You can see it, but you can also feel the energy building as it gets closer, and closer and then closer, and then you feel your hand touch my hand, your eyes close, you feel my finger touch your arm. But then, when the arm is moved, that's when things shift as arm just falls and falls like there aren't any bones left there at all, and that's perfect. 7

0:24:08 Jon: And then once again, as the arm is very gradually lowered, lowered, lowered, lowered, that's it, you're, at the same time, drifting, floating, gliding, sinking in, and down, down, down, down. And something is happening that's unusual, interesting, and effortless, all at once. In just a moment you're going to feel my finger touch the back of your hand, and you'll know exactly where it is. And then, I'm going to lift my finger from your hand, and you'll know exactly where it was. Indeed, it's almost as if you can continue to feel it. 0:25:13 Jon: Now, you remember I mentioned vibration. Well, there is vibration and the vibration that's taking place has increased as I've mentioned it, proving, you see, that your mind is not just powerful, but your mind is wonderfully responsive in certain situations where a certain criteria has been matched. In addition to the vibration that actually is taking place constantly, you may find that you may notice something else and it might just be a twitch or it might be like a tiny jerk. It might happen through the whole hand, maybe just one finger or two. 0:26:03 Jon: I just want to point out that, that's it, if you notice a little twitch, or jump, or jerk like that, that there's always another that you didn't notice. So, I just want you to know that whenever you're able to notice any kind of movement happening through one of the fingers of the hand itself, if it twitches, jumps or jerks, and you're aware that it has, then there's always, that's it, another movement, that's it, that you didn't notice. Whenever you do notice, you notice that there's something you don't notice, it's kind of as you're conscious. You can be conscious of not being conscious, even though where you're not conscious until you're conscious of what you are not conscious of, then it would be not conscious, even if what is, that s it, and then, notice as arm is gradually lowering down, that something's happening where you're just melting, melting, melting, melting, in, in, in, in. Commentary: Nothing that is being said could be disagreed with. It s difficult to consciously and logically follow it. I m referring to conscious mind and unconscious mind and movement while implying that as this is going on, mind is also responding to what it is that together is intended the transformation that s already underway. 0:27:38 Jon: You've had the experience of finding a plate, maybe a dish, maybe food had been served on it, but it wasn't rinsed at the right time. And the food got stuck, it got stuck so much that if we got the biggest guerilla in the whole world to shake the plate with all his might, he couldn't get it off. But you know that if you just take that dish and you put it in hot soapy water, that you've changed the environment completely. And now, the environment is an environment in which things can't stay stuck, no they can't. 8

0:28:18 Jon: Later, you might open a brand new sponge, and feel it hard in your hand. And then, it will be plunged into that soothing warm water. And it's like your hand automatically on itself and by itself, is moving in circles over the plate. And nothing can stay stuck, nothing. See, what's going on right here, right now is the atmosphere within your mind is different. What we're doing is shifting the atmosphere within your mind so that things that were stuck can't possibly stay stuck. Commentary: Describing opening the brand new sponge, this is something that, as it s described causes the experience of feeling it. This is something she s familiar with having felt in her hand. Plunging into the water is something she s familiar with having felt and the description of it causes the feeling which causes the experience that what I m saying is being experienced, not just cognitively, but it s being experienced with her senses. Then, the metaphor of the dish water being an environment in which things can t be stuck is suggesting that things that have been stuck and causing things to be some emotional turmoil in her life also can t stay stuck. Hence, things are falling away that used to be disruptive. This is the opposite of asking her to consciously look into herself or to take responsibility for these things. I really don t think that they are her responsibility. I think that the thoughts and feelings that she s described have been caused by something going on below or outside of her conscious awareness. That s where there is to be causing things to shift. 0:29:12 Jon: Now, there was a time when you were outdoors and you saw something that was beyond beautiful. You might have even said, "Amazing." And it completely had you at that moment. Nothing else exists. So, what is it you see where there's nothing else that exists? It's so beautiful, it's beyond beautiful, what is it? Yes, tell me, what is it? Commentary: I begin by using past tense, but then shift to present tense to bring her into the experience that she had at the time. Hence, it ends by saying, Tell me what is it rather than what was it. 0:29:45 Elizabeth: Mountains and waterfalls. 0:29:47 Jon: Beautiful. And at the peak moment, the very, very best moment, there is a sense of both peace and excitement. Let's think together that at that very special peak moment, that your awareness was drawn within toward where at your center there is peace, there is excitement, there is light, and let's realize that there've been other times, as well, where you felt peaceful and excited. But there have been those times when awareness was far from that. But, of course you would explain to a child that the sun has to weigh as much at midnight as it does at noon. It's got to be as heavy and it's got to be as hot, so it's got to be as bright. It's only our perception that is shifting. 9

0:30:38 Jon: So, let's think together to where at your center there is peace, excitement, clarity, wisdom. The light is always on. Yes, you haven't always been aware of the light; sometimes not at all, but the light has always been on. And, of course, you realize that you have a body and it certainly belongs to you. It's always belonged to you, but it doesn't look like it looked when you were only just a minute old and every cell has been replaced, and you know that, and replaced again, and again, and again, and again. You know, if I put my finger through a candle flame, and you put your finger through the candle flame, that you haven't touched what I have touched. It's new, always new, always renewed. When I touch your hand, what I'm touching has never been touched before, like the candle flame, always fresh, always renewed. Commentary: I get a buy-in because I don t ask her to believe that this way of thinking is true. I just ask her to think that way with me. 0:31:28 Jon: You have a body and it's absolutely yours; it's energy like a candle flame. It's yours, but it's never been you. And some people have opinions and some people have very strong opinions, but you know that beliefs change, and when beliefs change, people don't evaporate because you might have an opinion but you're not an opinion nor have you ever been a thought or a feeling or a habit. Those are things that maybe you had or you were doing, but they've never been who you are. Commentary: The Changing Perceived Identity process is being utilized because she has been feeling that she is different from other people. So, her identity has been that there is something different and, hence, disconnected. This is a process that shifts her perception of who she is in a way that will be beneficial for her. 0:31:59 Jon: So, let s think together right now, that who you actually are is that light, that piece, that excitement, that clarity, that wisdom, that at that very peak special moment, what you are becoming aware of is yourself, that that is you; that's who you are. And the rest has just been stuff that you had or that you've been doing, but never you. That's it. And as there is that realization, some kind of wild bird, maybe a wild animal, will come to mind. It's inspirational and conveys that message that you are that light, that clarity, that forever light. What bird? What animal? What is it? Say it. Say it. Say it. Commentary: It s the words, but it s also the power of the delivery that causes this to be experienced. It s not enough to just say these things to her. It s to cause her to experience what I m saying as what, indeed, is. 10

0:33:05 Elizabeth: Blue-and-yellow macaw. 0:33:08 Jon: And macaw is perfect. It's the one that your mind designated to symbolize you, peaceful, clear, perfect, clear, peaceful, perfect. That's it. That's it. And then, in a moment, I will take your arms, and then when you stand up, you stand up but you continue to move even further and deeper into this experience, further and deeper down. You'll feel my hand pick your arms up and you stand. That's perfect. And then, you just follow me with eyes closed right to there. That's it. And then, you just stop, slip out of your shoes, so there will be energy that flows from your feet all the way up. Excellent. And up and kick it away. Excellent. 0:34:25 Jon: And there you are and you feel your feet against the ground. And now, think of tree trunk legs that are rooted into the ground, rooted, solid, strong with roots that stretch out, planted deep and long. And as you feel those strong legs supporting you, at the same time, as you feel an energy from my hand near your face, you notice as I slip the glasses off, that's it, and you feel that energy, that's it, that body is then, on it's own, swaying. You don't make it move but you feel it, just went back and then forward. It's happening on it s own, rooted, that's it. And forward, and forward, and back. And then, as it just falls forward, head falls forward, forward, forward and just rests. Perfect. And just rests. Perfect. And you feel an energy from my hand, and you notice your head is just falling right there. That's it. That's it. Commentary: Emotional issues are experienced physically. That s why you see somebody who is down and you might see his shoulders slumped and his head forward and his voice sort of soft monotone. By shifting the way somebody is inside their body, by shifting their body, you are making a shift directly to what is going on emotionally. Most therapists are practicing what they call cognitive therapy and they re trying to shift people s thinking in order to change the way they feel and act. That certainly is effective, but we can also change the way people are acting, change what they re doing, change how they re standing, change how they re speaking and, in that way, change the thought and the feeling. 0:36:03 Jon: And now, I heard everything you said and I understand what's been going on. And I know that there's some places where information acquired, data that went in, got stuck causing the snag that you mentioned to me earlier. What I'm going to do is find where that's been stuck. You'll notice when I do, that I apply a pressure on that spot. And as you feel that pressure, you're going to inhale and hold your breath until I say release, and then everything is going to fall, and it's going to simply disappear. The thing that's stuck is washed away, down the drain and gone. I have to find it. And now inhale and hold it. Hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it, blow it out fast. 11

Commentary: I m adding to this change in what s going on physiologically for her, not only by having her change her position, standing, feeling her body swaying, reaching her arms up, visually seeing a star, touching the star. There s a whole lot of stuff going on that she s experiencing and then, since she has felt stuck and blocked, I m talking to her about, We will be releasing where that stuckness is and my hand moves to where it moves, which is really coming from my intention that she be okay, and then suggest the inhale and the blowing the air out to release what has been stuck. 0:37:04 Elizabeth: [Exhales fast.] 0:37:08 Jon: And there's another piece. Okay, there's another piece. Let me find it, let me find it, let me find it. And now, inhale, hold it. Blow out real fast now. 0:37:18 Elizabeth: [Exhales fast.] 0:37:19 Jon: There it is, there it is. Perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect. And then, that's it, head leans back, back, back, and falls right into my hand. Head falls right back into my hand. I ve got you. Falls, falls, falls. That's right, falling back, back, back, back. 0:37:48 Jon: The process of healing that you know about, maintenance and repair going on through the body all the time is going on now much, much, much faster; much deeper going through every muscle fiber, tissue, organ, gland, every minute part of your body, every nerve, every cell, healing fast and deep. Yes. Because mind is cleared, updated, refreshed, rebooted and clear. You'll find that as you move around within your body, it's like a completely different body. It doesn't even feel like it felt. And where there was stuck, it's not there. You can try to find it, it'll be gone. 0:38:38 Jon: And now, head goes up, that's it, and then, arms up, stretching, touching the star, reach, and reach, and reach. That's it. And then, this arm drops, this arm drops. There it goes. You're going to shrug your shoulders up high, high, high, high, and then let them drop, fall, and pour. There you go. There they go. Better, better, better, better. Okay. Again, come on up high, reach, reach, reach, reach, reach, reach, and drop. There it goes. This time, just shrug shoulders, up, up, up, up, up, and fall. That's right, and fall, that's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. Yes, there it is. 12

Commentary: Her mind is responding and experiencing those things that I say as what actually is. So, as I m letting her know that the stuckness is gone and she can t find it, and pairing that with things that she is experiencing right at that moment, I m causing that experience for her and, in doing so, changing what s going on within her mind as well. 0:39:47 Jon: And now, you can open your eyes. Take a couple of steps. You'll notice, it's like a completely different body to walk in. Turn in a circle, and just notice what that feels like. And what do you notice in your body now? 0:40:04 Elizabeth: Light. 0:40:05 Jon: Light, isn't it? Yeah. And now, I want you to look back at the design that you saw when we began. Remember the design? 0:40:15 Elizabeth: Yes. 0:40:16 Jon: It was gray. It had some kind [woosh woosh] thing? 0:40:19 Elizabeth: Right. 0:40:19 Jon: What's it look like now? 0:40:21 Elizabeth: I saw blue and purple. 0:40:24 Jon: Yeah. 0:40:24 Elizabeth: Kind of like melding in together. 0:40:26 Jon: Completely different thing, right? That was like a thermometer, giving a reading, like the kind of thermometer where it's inside the house but you can see temperature outside the house. This is a thermometer you can see with consciousness but it's reading what was below consciousness. And it's a completely different reading now. So, I want you to check again for the feeling, which you were able to have a little while ago, of different. Check for that now. 0:41:02 Elizabeth: I don't feel it. Commentary: So, there are two baselines the feeling baseline and the visual baseline. The only purpose is to do what I m doing here which is to cause her to go back, check and notice that it s very different. This proves to her that something very significant has been accomplished. 13

0:41:03 Jon: Yeah. So, there it goes. Good job. 0:41:10 Elizabeth: That was amazing. 0:41:12 Jon: You did a great job. You knew you were a fast learner, but you didn't know that you were a fast learner. And see, you're a fast learner and a fast learner. You followed on both levels, and therefore things have been transformed, and that's no longer stuck the way it had been. You can't even do it on purpose, any more than the zebra could. Zebra can't do it, you can't do it. Make sense? Commentary: Although I take the responsibility for causing the changes to take place, I make sure to give her the credit for it being accomplished. Hence, I m telling her about being a fast learner and that she learns things on many different levels. 0:41:46 Elizabeth: Yes. 0:41:47 Jon: That's what there was for you and I to get done today. 0:41:50 Elizabeth: Yes. 0:41:52 Jon: How did our meeting work out? 0:41:53 Elizabeth: Wonderful. 0:41:54 Jon: I'm so glad. You're so lovely. It was a pleasure to get to do this with you. 0:41:57 Elizabeth: Thank you so much. Thank you. 0:42:00 Jon: And there we go. 14
