From 1992 to 1999, more than sixty concerts featuring diverse folk artists were produced representing the five cultural regions of the state. In 1996, Kentucky Educational Television (KET), presented a series of four one-hour programs that included some of the Tour s artists. Each tour was accompanied by a knowledgeable presenter who introduced each musical group and a printed program to help interpret the styles and aesthetic backgrounds of the performers.
