PRISMATEC With a gain of 5.0, PrismaTec is the brightest rear projection screen in the industry. Glossary Anamorphic Lens A lens which enables you to fill the entire height and width of a Widescreen (2.35:1 / 2.40:1) format screen using a HDTV (16:9) projector. Aspect Ratio The ratio of width to height of a frame or screen. The most common aspect ratios for projection screens are Widescreen (2.35:1), HDTV (16:9) and Video (4:3). Black Velvet A matte black velvet finish used on fixed screens to absorb over scan. Contrast The range of light and dark values in a picture. DDR Dual Dampened Roller - Engineered inserts for motor and idler ends for reducing motor noise. EMS EZ-Mounting System - A Vutec innovation allowing easy mounting and alignment of motorized Vutec projection screens. FRS Fabric Relief Step - A Vutec innovation screen roller allowing the screen surface to retract with an 23 even surface. This feature eliminates stepping lines. Idler This is a pin inserted into the roller that maintains roller position.
