Brown Convention Center ( Hall E) in Houston, TX, USA. To prepare your stand and to make your participation as effective as possible, we advise you to read this carefully. This exhibitor manual contains all the essential information you require to prepare your stand and maximize your participation in the event. The manual has been split into easy to use sections, depending on whether you have taken Pipe-and-Drape or Raw Space, please ensure you read the relevant section carefully in conjunction with the Timetable, On-Site Advice & Health & Safety sections to ensure you have a smooth preparation for the. The Checklist/Order Forms tabs show a list of deadline dates for a quick reminder of everything you need to do. There are a number of forms, but please take the time to go through them returning the relevant forms by the deadline dates to ensure your instructions can be carried out efficiently and in good time. would like to remind you that this Manual does not replace our personal service. If you need any advice or assistance, please contact a member of the exhibition team, we will be happy to help you in any way. We have included direct contact details for the Breakbulk team as well as the contractors, so please feel free to contact us with any queries. If you are building your own stand, please pay particular attention to the section on Stand construction and fitting regulations and to safety regulations. This is to ensure that all stands are safe and are suitable for the purpose that they are designed for please make sure that your contractor order forms for all the services that you need (for example, water, waste, electricity, rigging, outgoing telephone lines and equipment for telephones, faxes and any internet connections that you may need) are within deadlines dates. Please remember that we are here to assist you on any matters relating to your participation in the event and will be happy to offer any advice you may need. Please read the manual at the earliest opportunity, so that no vital information is forgotten, there are several deadlines coming up which you shouldn t miss. Raw space booth guidelines 10 x 10 linear or in-line booth spaces: The height of your space cannot exceed 8 ft. The front 5 ft. of your space cannot exceed 4 ft. Your stand features cannot exceed past 10 ft. wide and 8 ft. high. These rules stay consistent for a 10 x 10 corner booth (which is at the end of a series of in-line booths with exposure to intersecting aisles on two sides). 10 x 20 end-cap booth spaces: The height of your space cannot exceed 8 ft. The front 5 ft. of your space cannot exceed 4 ft. Your stand features cannot exceed past the 10 ft. wide and 8 ft. high. If your stand exceeds past 10 ft. wide and 4 ft. high, you must purchase pipe and drape to be placed behind your stand. (Order forms will be available in the Exhibitor Manual.) These rules stay consistent with 10 x 30 booth spaces (except the 4 ft. height limitation is applied only to that portion of exhibit space which is within 10 ft. of an adjoining booth. This type of booth is known to cause most problems between exhibitors (than any other type of booth) due to failure to observe the back wall high restrictions, so please take extra notice. 20 x 20 peninsula booth spaces: If your booth backs up to two linear booths, the back wall is restricted to 4 ft. high within 5 ft. of each aisle (Line-of-Sight Rule) Typical maximum height allowed is 16-20 ft., and this needs to stay within the 10 ft. in the center of your stand. The 16-20 ft. height restriction includes any hanging signs (the top of the sign must be at 20 ft. high or lower). If your display/stand exceeds past 10 ft. wide, you must purchase pipe and drape to be placed behind your stand.

Important Considerations for All Booths All display features and accessories must be confined to your cubic area. The aisles are property of all exhibitors; therefore, each exhibitor is responsible for proper flow of traffic through the exhibit area. Carpet is a requirement for each booth space. If you require carpet, order forms will be available in the Exhibitor Manual. Alternative flooring can be used but must be submitted for approval with the stand rendering Your booth space does not come with WIFI or electricity. Order forms will be available in the Exhibitor Manual. All exhibiting companies are required to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and are encouraged to be sensitive, and as reasonably accommodating as possible, to attendees with disabilities. All booths must provide a valid, unexpired Certificate of Insurance Form by Monday, September 8, 2014. If your insurance company requires an address, please use: (JOC Group Inc.) This form will be available with our Exhibitor Manual by Monday, June 2, 2014. They must also provide a valid, unexpired Certificate of Insurance Form by Monday, September 8, 2014. Booth spaces have been moved away from the exhibition hall columns to avoid hindrance. Please familiarize yourself with the Breakbulk Americas 2014: Exhibitor Floor Plan to note where columns are located and if any height restrictions caused by this will affect your stand space/features.
