It is with pleasure that Bass Lake Lodge provide you with the team building activities for 2018. These activities aren t rigid and can be mixed and matched. These activities have been carefully selected and approved by Bass Lake Lodge. All prices include VAT. Venue hire, meals and tea breaks are excluded in the prices for each activity below and therefore an additional R340.00 p/p needs to be taken into consideration. When team building is combined with a conference day, no additional venue hire tariff will be added for team building. Please request a special rate when you select three (3) and more activities. Surviva Challenge The name says it all! Teams are put against each other in activities activities that put your mental powers more to the test than physical. Each team receives their own coloured shirt with the Surviva logo printed on the shirt. After all the action we have a prize giving ceremony that rewards the winning team and individuals for fun elements that they have contributed during the day. Time Span of Activity: 3-6 6 hours Archery A short history lesson in archery and type of bows and arrows that are used combined with different competitions during the activity, makes for enormous fun. Time Span of Activity: 45-90 90 min Draadkar Races All the necessary equipment and materials are supplied so that that you and your team can construct your own draadkar with trailer. You are also responsible for the decorations on the vehicles. All of the teams vehicles must be able to race against each other. AfriWood Do you want to direct, act or be a camera man? Well this is a great opportunity for the whole group to interact and be part of a film production. Groups act, direct a film their piece. This is then put onto tape and shown to our judges and the awards for best director, actor and film are awarded. Great fun for a group with spunk and vibe! Time Span of Activity: 2-3 3 hours Spud Scud Teams need to knock out the other teams shelters by using air canons that shoots interesting projectiles. Teams are allowed to protect them. Drumming Enjoy an hour of drumming and learning basic rhythms with the help of our facilitators. Each participant receives his/her own drum for the session. Ideal for around a boma fire. Time Span of Activity: 1 hour Boomwhacking - NEW Using boomwhackers as a team building building activity is an amazing way to energies a group or team with a short fun filled session in the boardroom. Boomwhackers are long colourful tubes that produce various tones when you beat them together or on your hand. This activity can almost be seen an n equivalent to drumming except that is more mobile, easier to control, offers more movement and is more cost effective to you as the client. After all the cutting and pasting they have to wear it in a Recession Fashion Show so that we the judges can decide who will be the winners. Wine Blending Wine is the product of the fruit of the gods. Now we are taking it a step further in blending the wine. We will give you some background about wine and what to consider when you start blending your wine. Then the fun starts and each team is given samples of the different cultivars that they can use to blend with. After you have blended these wines you will start bottling them th and designing the labels by hand that will be digitised and printed on the label for the team s bottles. Well we re not going to get you to the moon, but with Bottle Rocket you will be able to go head to head and see which team builds the best rocket that will go the highest. You will also build different types of bottle rockets that use e different types of fuel for propulsion. Let s see who will get just that little bit closer to the moon! Base cost is fixed and persons extra should be multiplied by the number of extra and added on to the base price. A price reduction will be in effect should you choose three or more activities. This will be quoted separately.

Please take note of the following in regards the time span of activities: Activities time span is not fixed and can change due to your time constraints or group size. We will as far as the activities allow us try to accommodate your time frame for team building. Some activities are dependent on good weather. Your safety and comfort ort is our primary concern. Should bad weather intervene in the time of activities scheduled we will try to move them to an indoor location should the venue allow it. Activities can for obvious reasons not be carried over to another date if weather caused its cancellation. Should you want to create your own group of activities, you are free to do so and we will quote on these individual requests as they are presented to us. Directions to Bass Lake From Johannesburg take the N1 North in direction of Polokwane. Just North of Pretoria take the Sefako Makgatho/Cullinan off-ramp. off At the robot turn Right into Sefako Makhatho(R513). Skip one robot. At the 1st four way robot turn left. (R 573 Kwamhlanga).
