Connet the power cord to the power supply 3. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet. 4. Wait for the unit to come to active mode (ON). 8 4
Powering the system ON and OFF (2) Switching OFF i.e. switching from Active mode to Standby mode 1. In Active mode, press the on/off key for 3 seconds. 2. The ON LED turns off and the STANDBY LED turns on. 9 Powering the system ON and OFF (3) Switching ON i.e. switching from Standby mode to Active mode 1. In Standby mode, press the on/off key for 1 second. 2. The STANDBY LED turns off and the ON LED turns on. 10 5

On Screen Display (OSD) or Menu (1) In the Menu <Main menu item> : press the down arrow key on the RCU to open the drop down menu (e.g. General) <Text>... :a new dialog box or edit box opens when selecting and confirming this item (e.g. Identification...) <Text> : press the right arrow key on the RCU to open the drop down menu (e.g. Desktop ) 13 On Screen Display (OSD) or Menu (2) In edit boxes of the Menu Select the edit field and confirm Use arrow keys and to select the character to be changed Use arrow keys and to change the selected character, or Use the keys 0..9 to enter a digit 14 7

If colors have been aligned during installation, return to those settings by enabling Dynacolor (see next slide) 20 10
Basic operations (7) Enabling defined color correction (Dynacolor) Enabling Dynacolor only makes sense if colors have been calibrated and/or aligned during installation In multi channel systems, Dynacolor should always be enabled! 21 Maintenance (1) First use Check device and cables on damage Weekly maintenance Check device and cables on damage: repair or replace damaged items Display test patterns and check the projected image 22 11
Maintenance (2) Monthly maintenance Vacuum clean air inlet grids in dusty environment Yearly maintenance Clean the device 23 Maintenance (3) Condition based maintenance Make a backup each time settings are changed Upgrade the firmware if needed Replace the batteries of the RCU 24 12
