Fast finishers can write the pairs in their notebooks and read them aloud to their partner. Name Mingle: After introducing the sight words, model the questions and answers needed for the mingle. Model with co-teacher/volunteer. Challenge the higher level students to use complete sentences when answering. White Board Numbers s have mini white boards; teacher calls out a number. Ss write the number numerically. Higher level students write both the number and the word for the number. Repeat for numbers 1-10. Repeating having a student be the caller. Listening Fill-in Ss listen to the conversations one at a time; T reads.
