II. GRAMMAR REVIEW: Topic: Adverbs of Place (5-6 minutes) Adverbs of place indicate where an action happened. Examples of these are: there, aboard, anywhere, apart, away, behind, below, beneath, everywhere, here, nearby, overhead, somewhere, within, etc. Remember ( ポイント ): Most common adverbs of place could also function as prepositions. To avoid confusion, always remember that adverbs of place modify the verb by showing the movement towards a place; On the other hand, prepositions relate an object (person, place, and thing) by showing the movement towards an object.
