RELEASE DATES AND ACTIVITIES FOR HUM2X "THE ANCIENT GREEK HERO" Participants seeking to maximize opportunities for discussion with readers working at the same pace should follow the schedule below, which is synchronized with an associated course at Harvard University. Although we are sharing this ideal schedule, we want to emphasize two things: 1) new participants are welcome at all times, and 2) we honor the participation of those working at any level of engagement including those who may want to explore select portions of content. Participants who are working towards a Verified Certificate may work at their own pace to complete all self-assessments by the end of the project (May 4, 2017 at 16:59 EST = 23:59 UTC). Release dates are shown in dark blue. The readings, engagement, and self-assessments for each Hour are shown below. If you are unable to complete all the activities for a given Hour, we recommend that you prioritize the slow reading selections. PROJECT CLOSE DATE: May 4, 2016 On May 4, at 16:59 EST (= 23:59 UTC) the project content will be archived and edx will calculate all scores. You will still be able to access all the content, but new results on self-assessments will no longer be added to the totals on the Progress page. A few weeks later, edx will issue certificates to those who have enrolled for a Verified Certificate and achieved a score of 50% or greater by the close date. At this stage all participants will be able to see their overall score on their Dashboard. Participants auditing HeroesX who wish to retain a record of their activity can print their Progress page, or take a screenshot of the Progress page or Dashboard. v7 2016-01-10 12
