Browse & Check Out Go to www.piercecountylibrary.org. Click on Download E-Books Under E-Books, click on Overdrive Catalog. 3/14 TM 2
You can browse titles in the library s Overdrive catalog using the categories listed in the Menu at the top of the page. You can search for a particular author or title from the search bar. Click on Advanced Search to conduct an even more detailed search, including limiting results by format. To access your Overdrive account and bookshelf of checked out materials click on the Account button. Icons in the upper right hand corner of the cover image identify whether the title is an audiobook or an ebook. The same icons indicate if the title is available for checkout right now. If the icon for a title is greyed out you must place your name on the waiting list for that particular book. Clicking on the grey bookmark, just below a title s cover image, will add the book to your wish list. Note that adding a book to your wish list will not place the book on hold for you. 3/14 TM 3
While browsing the catalog, you may limit your search to books that are immediately available for checkout. Click on the Available Now text to do so. Use the filter options on the left side of the page to narrow your results further. Make note of the formats that the book is available in, they are listed under Available formats. Only Kindle Book formats will work on your Kindle ereader. 3/14 TM 4

The next step is to download and save or transfer your ebook to the Documents folder. On amazon, choose Transfer via Computer, from the drop down Deliver to: menu.
