Read the following passage and answer the questions given below: Not very long ago, a man was driving from Mumbai to Pune and decided not to take the new express way as he wanted to enjoy the scenery. But the inevitable happened when he reached the ghats- his car broke down. He was stranded, miles from nowhere. Having no choice, he started walking along the roadside, hoping to get a lift to the nearest habitation. It was dark and raining and soon he was wet and shivering. He could hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly he saw a car coming towards him. It showed down and stopped next to him. Without wasting a moment the man opened the door and got into the car. Seated in the back seat he leaned forward to thank his saviour when he realised that there was nobody in the car. Then the car started moving slowly and soundlessly- there was no sound of the engine. The man was too terrified to do anything. When he looked ahead at the road, he saw a curve. As this was a hilly area, there was bound to be steep drop beyond the curve. Scared almost to death, he started praying, begging the Lord to save his life. Just before he hit the curve, a hand appeared through the window and moved the steering. The car safely turned and continued on the road till the next bend. The man paralysed by fear, watched how a hand appeared every time before a curve and steered the car to safety! Finally the man spotted some lights in the distance. Gathering his courage he wrenched opened the door of the slowly moving car and ran as hard as he could towards the lights. Wet and in shock, he reached a roadside dhaba and asked for some water. Then he narrated his horrible experience to some willing listeners. A silence enveloped everybody.
