But another protagonist made its mark in the Classical Period: the clarinet, an instrument of rich colors and subtle dynamics. And Lorenzo Coppola is one of its greatest devotees in all its historical guises. Soprano and clarinets will share the stage, around one of Haydn s most rousing symphonies.
